Yipppee - It’s live — my new site and new name: AW Coaching. If you’re carrying pain, stress or patterns you’re tired of, this is where we start shifting it together.

My new site is live and I’m officially AW Coaching now.
I’ve dropped the extra “A” — we all know it’s Therapeutic Coaching and Hypnotherapy.

Nothing technical or mind blowing on the site. I’ll leave that for the coaching.

I’m not taking anything away. I’m bringing you more.

Same coach, Amanda Walker. More depth. Sharper tools. Same mission:
Helping you overcome physical and emotional pain 💕

What you’ll find on the new site:
➡️ Advanced NLP Coaching for the patterns that keep you stuck
➡️ Clinical Hypnotherapy for anxiety, sleep, confidence + imposter syndrome
➡️ EFT/Tapping for the stress you feel in your body, not just your mind
➡️ Therapeutic Coaching for when life feels too heavy, even when you “should be fine”
➡️ HR, Leaders and Managers coaching — because 30 years in HR doesn’t just disappear

And a place to book and pay!

But it’s always about the person you — before the job title, before the to-do list, before everyone else.

To celebrate, I’ve opened 1 spot for my Level 2 EFT case study.

You get: 3 FREE EFT/Tapping sessions on Zoom
I get: Anonymous case notes for my assessment

If your brain won’t switch off, you’re tired of overthinking, and you’re curious if tapping actually works… this is for you.

30 years supporting people taught me one thing: Smart people don’t need more information. They need to feel safe in their ownself again.

Same Amanda. Deeper work. Bigger shifts. And still the small shifts. One Mind at a Time.

Launch offers are live too.

👉 Have a look: https://www.awtherapeuticcoaching.com/

Comment ‘TAP’ below or DM me to apply for the free EFT/Tapping sessions.
Comment ‘WAITLIST’ if you want first access to the launch offers.

Thanks for being here.

Just a gentle reminder today…

You don’t have to wait until you’re forced to stop.
You’re allowed to rest before you break.

I know it’s hard.
You’re used to pushing through.
To putting everyone else first.
To telling yourself “I’ll rest when this is done.”

But “this” is never done, is it?

Your body whispers before it screams.
The tired eyes.
The heavy sighs.
The brain that won’t quiet down at night.

That’s not you failing.
That’s your body asking for a moment.

You don’t need a diagnosis to deserve peace.
You don’t need to earn a break.
You don’t need to wait until you’re running on empty.

Closing the loop on stress isn’t selfish.
It’s how you stay well.
It’s how you stay you.

Think of it like this:
You charge your phone before it hits 1%.
Your mind deserves the same care.

So if today feels heavy…
If your thoughts are loud…
If you’re tired but can’t switch off…

This is your sign to pause.
Even for 2 minutes.
Even just to breathe.

Your body will thank you for stopping early.
Not just for surviving. ♥️

Be gentle with yourself today.
You’re doing better than you think.

Save this for the next time you need the reminder. ✨

Stop binge-watching your worries. 🎬

You know that Netflix feeling.
10pm: “Just one episode.”
1am: “I NEED to know what happens next.”

That’s your subconscious brain.
It HATES a cliffhanger.

Its only job is to close the loop. To finish the story. To get closure.

So when life leaves you hanging:
The argument with no apology.
The text they never read.
The “should I have done more?” at 3am…

Your brain keeps hitting “Next Episode.”
On loop.
All night.

That’s overthinking.
That’s why you can’t switch off.
You’re not weak. You’re not broken.
Your brain is binge-watching Episode 47 of “Things I Can’t Fix”.

Talking about it keeps the episode playing.
Journaling rewinds it.
Googling them at midnight? That’s Season 2.

Sometimes you need to hit “End Episode.”

Hypnosis is the remote control for your subconscious.
It gives your brain the ending it’s been desperate for.
Not by forgetting. By completing.

So the loop closes.
The tab shuts.
And you can finally exhale.

You are not your thoughts.
You’re the one holding the remote.

What episode is your brain stuck bingeing? 👇
Name it below. Calling it out is how you start to close it.

Time to switch off. Call me or send me a DM.

Imagine a new morning.

Not the usual one.
No racing heart before your feet hit the floor.
No dreading the school run, the meeting, the day ahead.
No hands straight to your nails or face before you’re even awake.

A new morning where:
Your body wakes up calm, not on alert.
You brush your teeth without checking the locks 3 times.
You can eat breakfast without that knot in your stomach.
Silence feels safe — not like something’s wrong.

That’s what we work on in hypnotherapy.
Not just sleep. But how you wake up.
Because if your nervous system starts the day in panic, the rest of the day is just damage control.

Hypnotherapy helps reset that morning alarm in your brain. The one that fires “danger” when there isn’t any. So you can start the day as you — not as your anxiety.

You don’t have to keep starting the day in survival mode.

Hypnotherapy helps reset your morning alarm.

We all know hypnotherapy is for stopping smoking and va**ng, losing weight, sleep… but what about other things?

🤌Nail biting & skin picking
Your hands do it before you notice. That’s because 95% of it runs in your subconscious — the autopilot part. Hypnotherapy helps you step out of trance and gives your hands a new job. No willpower needed.

🤮Fear of being sick
Emetophobia. Your nervous system fires “danger” at the idea of vomiting. We use hypnotherapy to update that old alarm system, so your body stops panicking over a what-if.

☺️Blushing & sweating on the spot
Your brain confuses “all eyes on me” with “I’m under attack”. In hypnosis we retrain that threat response, so your body stays cool when you speak.

Why it works:
You can’t logic your way out of these. If you could, you would have.

Hypnotherapy speaks to the part of your brain actually running the pattern — your subconscious. Change it there, and the habit loses its grip.

I’m Amanda, trained Hypnotherapist & Therapeutic Coach. Stokesley & Online.

No judgement. No digging up your whole life. Just help to change the pattern.

“Client win that gave me goosebumps 💙

Emily came to me with three things controlling her life:
A lifelong fear of cows
Emetophobia — fear of being sick, and other people being sick
Hayfever that started on a school trip when she first got scared of cows

Her body had linked them all together. One trauma, three symptoms.

After one IEMT session…

She walked through a field next to cows this week. Calm. No panic.
She Watched a film with her mum and didn’t flinch
And the hayfever? Symptom-free for over a year

IEMT doesn’t just manage symptoms. It finds the original imprint and helps your nervous system let go.

So proud of Emily. The body keeps the score — but it can also release it.

If you’ve got fears or physical reactions that ‘don’t make sense’ but feel very real… your body might be telling a story. IEMT helps you finish the chapter.

Story version if you want shorter:

“Emily: scared of cows since a school trip → hayfever started the same day. Add in emetophobia for good measure.

One IEMT session later:
✅ Walked past cows. Calm.
✅ Watched someone be sick on tv.
✅ No hayfever.

Your body remembers. IEMT helps it forget. 💙 IEMT”

“I was nervous going into my first session…”

I hear this often. And I get it. Walking into a room with a stranger to talk about the hard stuff? That takes guts.

So when a client fed back this week:

“At first I was nervous going into my first session, Amanda soon made me comfortable and relaxed using different methods. Coming away from my first session I felt the effects right away, giving me a positive outlook going forward. I can’t thank Amanda enough for being patient, calm and knowledgeable at what she does.”

It reminded me why I do this.

You don’t need to be “ready” to start. You just need to be willing to walk through the door. I’ll meet you there with the calm, the patience, and the methods that help.

Curious about what session 1 actually feels like? Message me. No pressure. Just a chat.

Same in,Same out

The question I hear most in coaching sessions:

“Why do I keep ending up here?”

Same arguments.
Same self-doubt.
Same ceiling at work.
Same Monday feeling, different week.

My answer is always the same: “Because the input hasn’t changed.”

If you always put the same in, you always get the same out.

Same inner dialogue → Same confidence levels
Same boundaries → Same energy drain
Same beliefs → Same limits

The brain loves patterns. It will run the old code on loop until someone hits interrupt.

That’s what NLP does.

We track the input that’s driving the output. The language. The belief. The unconscious program running in the background.

Then we install something new.

This isn’t positive thinking. It’s pattern interruption.

If you’re ready to change your input, I have 3 x 1:1 NLP coaching slots opening in May.

Comment RESET or DM me. Let’s write a new program for you.

How can I be scared when I don’t even know what’s going to happen?

Ever had that thought?

That tight feeling in your chest. The ‘what ifs’ running on loop. The fear that shows up before anything has even happened.

It’s not logical, but it’s real.

Our brains are wired to protect us. So when we step toward something new — a change, a decision, an unknown — fear shows up. Not because we know it’ll go wrong. But because we don’t know it’ll go right.

I see this so often with the women I work with. And I’ve felt it myself.

The truth is: You don’t need to know what’s going to happen to be brave.
You just need to take the next small step. Let yourself feel the fear, and move anyway.

Because sometimes the unknown isn’t danger.
Sometimes it’s possibility. Growth. The start of something better than you could have planned.

If this is where you are right now — you’re not alone. And you don’t have to figure it out all at once.

An exciting update I’m proud to share 🎓

I’ve now qualified as a Master NLP Practitioner.

If we’ve worked together, you’ll know I’ve been using these tools for years. This certification means I’m now formally qualified at Mastery level, adding to the ways I support you as a Therapeutic Coach.

What does this mean for you?

It means more ways to help you transform and change the things that feel stuck, heavy, or ready to shift.

I work with women through both personal and professional change — confidence, self-belief, relationships, leadership, burnout, finding your voice, stepping into your next chapter.

Alongside Mastery NLP, I use IEMT to gently release difficult memories and emotions, clinical hypnosis for deep, lasting change, and practical tools for pain release and anxiety that help settle your nervous system and change how you feel each day.

And here’s what I know to be true: big change doesn’t have to be loud.
For some, it’s the small, steady steps. The subtle shifts. The quiet changes that build and build until one day you realise… everything feels different. Calmer. Lighter. More you.

We’ll work at your pace, in your way. Whether you need bold moves or gentle steps, I’ve got more tools to meet you there.

To the women I support — thank you. Your trust is why I keep learning. This next step means I can bring even more to our work together.

If you’re wondering how this could help, I’m here.
