Red Nose Day in full swing here at Regency ❤️ send us your Red Nose Day pictures we will love to see them, this is ours, even the chicks are getting involved. We all enjoyed some fresh Red Nose Day cup cakes made by Kelly with our morning coffees. 😋

It’s been wonderful to watch this week—it truly feels like a significant moment as spring begins to arrive and our chicks start hatching. It’s definitely been a real talking point, drawing lots of interest and visits.

A special thank you goes to our gentle and attentive chick handlers, who encourage others to get involved and help make the experience of holding a chick such a rewarding one.

Happy St Patrick’s day ☘️ from all of us here at regency retirement home we decorated for the occasion, enjoyed Irish stew followed by home made cake with custard all washed down with some whisky and Guinness 🥃.
Jan went out to the woolpack for lunch with her friend Wendy and enjoyed some sunshine.

Iris and sooty came to visit us this afternoon, some 2 week old bottle fed baby lambs, we loved having cuddles and feeding them milk with a bottle. The residents absolutely loved seeing them, they went around the rooms. They was so cute and lovely, Thank you Suzanne for bringing them in to see us we had a lovely afternoon 💓 🐑 🍼

This afternoon, our residents were invited to Wycliffe College to chat with some of the year 13 students. The residents enjoyed reminiscing and telling the students about their past, families and previous careers. They enjoyed listening to the students talk about their future plans and university. Halfway through the afternoon, we enjoyed a jazz recital on the piano by one of the year 12 boys. The afternoon was finished off by feeding the beautiful fish in the atrium. Thank you Wycliffe for the invitation, we all had a wonderful time 💓 x

What a great morning visit we had this morning, Thomas the Piglet who is 9 weeks old and pebbles the Shar Pei dog, whilst Thomas was cosy sleeping in arms, pebbles was getting treats.
