What a lovely afternoon we had at Regency Retirement Home, we had some of the year 4 children from hopelands school come in to share some of their stories with us and finishing of by singing a Spanish song to us. Our residents really enjoys children coming in to see us, thank you to the children and to the staff always welcome 💓

The last 4 weeks on a Monday afternoon we had the pleasure of having children come in from park infant school to read their books to us, the residents really enjoyed the children coming in and said it was really nice as brought back memories when their children was small, Thank you to the children and the teachers.
Nettie was thrilled to bits with her flowers and chocolates that arrived , and a card from the children of Park infant school, also sang Happy Birthday to her.

What a great afternoon we have had singing along, swaying, clapping and up on our feet dancing to the amazing Alan, was nice to see everyone having a great time and smiling and talking with each other. Some of the comments made was he was really good, sang a good variety of songs.

This morning Regency Retirement Home staff took part in practical fire training, held at The Nest in Stonehouse.
We all had the chance to actively engage in using the fire extinguishers, which was a first time experience for some, the training went well and we all came away feeling more confident in tackling fire if needed yet at the same time more educated in reducing such events.

Let’s twist again, great afternoon with Nicola from Alive this afternoon. We do like singing and dancing 💃 and reminiscing. We had a lovely afternoon and was so nice to see you :-) we will look forward to our next visit.
