How are you feeling? Really feeling? Would you like to make changes?

Weekly practical classes are starting at the EMC, Kinver this Wednesday. You will learn simple & powerful tools and techniques to help you deal with stress & improve the way you feel.

Classes include breathing and relaxation techniques, meditation, EFT (Tapping), Havening techniques, Heart Coherence, Louise Hay (affirmations & mirror work), Hypnotherapy & Vagus nerve activation.

I also offer 1 to 1 sessions for people who would rather work on specific issues individually (such as anxiety, self-esteem, forgiveness, healing from trauma, fears & phobias) instead of in a small group. Individual sessions are available for children and teenagers too.

I am a qualified school teacher, psychologist, hypnotherapist, EFT practitioner, Louise Hay teacher and exercise teacher. Fully insured

Would you like to feel calmer, more focused, self aware, contented and less stressed in 2025?

A new series of Body & Mind Unwind sessions are starting on Wed 22nd Jan at the Edward Marsh centre, at the earlier time of 6pm.
In these 12 sessions you will learn tools and techniques that you can use for yourself to help you feel better and sleep better.

We will learn a variety of breathing techniques to help with sleep, relaxation and positive mood.
We will practice "Heart Coherence" to synchronise our heart rate with our brain waves to achieve clarity, calm and access our inner wisdom.
We will learn how to do the "Havening technique" to provide comfort or to heal past traumas.
We will learn E.F.T (tapping) to provide relief from anxiety, intense emotions, past memories or pain.
Plus sessions on the Vagus nerve, gratitude, mirror work, kinesiology (muscle dowsing) visualisation/meditation and hypnotherapy.

Classes are ยฃ7 payable weekly.

On Wednesday evenings from 22nd Jan we'll be learning ways that you can feel better, more relaxed, centred and focused.
We'll be using visualisation, breathing techniques, Hypnotherapy, EFT(tapping), Havening, Heart coherence and other modalities, that are simple yet powerful tools to improve your emotional and physical well-being.

Really looking forward to tomorrow's session.

We're going to be learning a really simple but powerful technique, which can be used to either calm anxiety in the present time or to heal past trauma or upsetting events in the past.

Havening technique is a fairly new somatic technique that uses touch, plus distraction of the conscious mind, to calm the nervous system and rewire the brain and heal from past hurts. Research shows that it increases Delta brain waves and Oxytocin, which helps to permanently rewire neural pathways associated with the trauma.

We only need 5 minutes... it works and it feels great ๐Ÿ˜Š

In tonight's class we'll be learning about and practising Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or tapping)
It's a simple but powerful technique combining modern day psychology with ancient Chinese wisdom, using the end points of energy meridians (acupressure points)
It addresses the root cause of physical and emotional issues and has been really successful at treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, chronic pain, cravings and addictions, fears and phobias. Or it can be used simply as a relaxation tool.

Did you know that its impossible to feel anxiety and gratitude at the same time?
And we're the only species that can consciously affect our own nervous system and emotions?
Gratitude impacts the Hypothalamus (sleep, appetite, metabolism, growth etc) and releases happy hormones (dopamine, serotonin and oxytocin) and turns on the Parasympathetic N.S, enhancing the immune response.
Worth making it a habit..

Looking forward to tomorrow night's class!

We'll be learning a really easy but powerful technique to connect to your heart or your inner wisdom.
To actually synchronise your brain waves with your breathing, your hormones and your heart rate, to be in a state of coherence.

Did you know that your โค๏ธ has its own nervous system, with 40,000 neurones and it sends more messages to the brain than vice versa...?

So we're going to tap into our hearts intelligence and get some answers!
