Just a couple of spaces left. I only work in small groups to give enough to each participant. This is our second retreat this one focused on RECOVERY. This will be led by myself. Qualified registered equine assisted psychotherapist of 15 years. I am moving in different directions having worked in mental health for all this time with many organisations. It's wonderful to discuss ideas and situations in life with like minded people, a new experience for me but always a blessing to bring these wise beings into people's lives. Be careful out there. Are your retreat leaders self aware, not judging not self righteous not there for power? Spiritual bypassing by narcissists is rife. The hard work is the willingness to exorcise our own demons fight the good fight and exist with real empathy. Good facilitators show the power within the client not the facilitator.

Often the horses surround the client, creating a circle with the client 'held' by them in the middle. This is a very powerful experience for the client who feels deeply supported and accepted on a deep transpersonal level. It can't be orchestrated it's something they do naturally. This giving with no agenda.

Group meditation. It's interesting watching them come in and find their own space before they settle. It's like a group of people coming in with their yoga mats!
