In September 2011 we opened our first Got 2 Sing Choir in Stourbridge and 96 people walked through the door! It was an unprecedented success – clearly telling us that adults were keen to get together and share the joy of singing.

“We would like to formally apologise for our choice of songs this term, which appear to have resulted in a persistent ‘earworm’. We recognise that, as the weeks progress, this condition may intensify, with possible side effects including (but by no means limited to): Singing in supermarkets, accompanying the car radio in harmony, humming one line repeatedly at 2am, getting overly excited in public when hearing one of the songs and embarrassing those around you.”

(The man, the myth, the legend)

Today we’re celebrating the guy who keeps Got 2 Sing Choir running smoothly - even if most of his superpowers happen behind the scenes. As Managing Director, Jim bravely takes on all the ‘glamorous’ jobs… like spreadsheets, emails, logistics, and all those “someone has to do it” tasks the rest of us mysteriously avoid. 😅📊

While Beth brings the vision as our founder, Jim is the calm, capable force making sure everything actually works - and for that, we are endlessly grateful. 🎶👏

Here’s to another year of keeping the wheels turning, the paperwork in check, and the choir thriving (with hopefully a little less admin and a lot more cake today). 🎂🥳
