Hey...Teku Crystal Creations is retiring very soon.
I have 3 more fayres booked this year and then looking forward to what free time I have with my gorgeous family, nstead of doing more work 🥳
Trying to run a business alongside full time work is not for the faint hearted...especially when what you're trying to sell is all handcrafted by you.
Hours spent researching and sourcing quality materials, creating, marketing and promoting your finished work on social media (finding the right hashtags/algorithms...what an absolute ball ache, not very "spiritual" I know, but oh so true!), 😊
Photgraphng downloading writing detailed descriptions of online listings, measuring and then publishing items for sale on artisan platforms, packaging, trips to the post office, custom orders dealng with customer queries, travelling to and from/setting up and packing down from in person events...woah!!
It's incredibly hard work and often all consuming with no guarantee of reward.
I've been doing this for many, many years now.
I've truly loved it and met some wonderful people but I'm bloody knackered and I clearly don't have the business acumen to make it work.
I have come to the conclusion that I can't sell snow to Eskimos and I'm okay with that 😅
So having given it my all, I'm now ready to put my feet up, unless I'm chasing my fabulous grandson around the local park after he's eaten a donut and is in full sugar rush mode, in which case I'll just watch and chuckle as mum and dad deal with the little munchkin ! 🥰
Thankyou to everyone who has supported my work... without you I wouldn't have kept it going for so long 🙏 x
PS. Will be selling off any unsold stock including crystals, cabochons and craft materials on Ebay in New Year at very reasonable prices. Will put links on here if anyone is interested 😊
