Relatives and Carers Group

Are you supporting a loved one through a cancer journey? If you would appreciate a safe space to come and chat through YOUR concerns and worries then please join in our relatives, carers and friends group.

This group brings together people in a very similar situation and allows you to talk in confidence.

The group meets at Stranraer Cancer Drop In Centre on Tuesday 26th May at 3pm.

Notice of Annual General Meeeting

Stranraer Cancer Drop In Centre will hold their AGM on Tuesday 2nd June.

It will take place at 7pm within St John's Episcopal Church, Stranraer

We will have a great speaker along and tea, coffee and home baking will be served after meeting

💙🩷 Young Person's Cancer Support Group 💙🩷

Our next Young Person's Group meets this Thursday afternoon at 4pm.

The group is held within Stranraer Cancer Drop In Centre

This group is open to all patients under the age of 55 years old to come and share worries, concerns or just chit chat over a cuppa.

The group is very friendly and welcoming.

Stranraer Cancer Drop In Centre is absolutely delighted to share the news that we have been awarded a grant funded by Kilgallioch Community Fund, administered by Foundation Scotland

This grant is an invaluable investment into our service, this grant is specifically to help us continue our volunteer transport service which for our patients in this area is a lifeline.

This will allow us to continue to work very closely with our partners at Order of St John and The Royal Voluntary Service to help provide the best services to our patients.

💜🤍Acupuncture 💜🤍

Our next block of acupuncture starts on Monday 11th May and we have a slot available to book.

These sessions are free of charge for patients, family members, carers and those bereaved by cancer.

Acupuncture can provide great relaxation as well as helping with some of the on going side effects of treatment.
