This year August has two supermoons, tonight is the first and will appear its largest and brightest around moonrise this evening and again at moonset tomorrow morning. You may feel inspired to capture a photo or just take time to bathe in its beautiful light.

Supermoons occur when the moon appears full whilst at its closest point to the earth, to us it seems bigger and more glorious than usual.

To see the second super moon, we have to wait til the very last night of the month.
