🌀I’ve always been someone who tries to take care of myself.
I was running most days.
Eating what I thought was fairly well.
From the outside, it probably looked fine.
➡️ But I remember driving to pick up the kids
and feeling like I could barely keep my eyes open.
That heavy, flat, mid-afternoon energy
that just didn’t make sense.
So I did what most women do.
I adjusted.
Tried to eat a bit better.
Kept exercising.
Made small changes where I could.
And to a point… it sort of worked.
But it never really held.
Then after perimenopause hit and it shifted again.
What had been “manageable”
just… wasn’t anymore.
My body felt different.
My energy was inconsistent.
And the same approach just stopped working.
That’s when I realised:
this wasn’t about trying harder.
➡️ It was about understanding what was actually going on.
Because when your body isn’t producing steady energy,
nothing really sticks.
Once that changed, everything else became simpler.
Not perfect.
Just… more reliable.
