Stephen Obradovic, Care Shop Business Development Manager has been attending the Care Show at Excel in London.
Stephen said "It's great to attend events such as the Care Show, it gives us the opportunity to meet exhibitors and talk to them about product development and how this could help our customers. It has been a busy day but very worthwhile attending".

Care Shop has recently been presented with an award at the Berkley Care Group's 'Annual B Celebrated' award ceremony.
The award was a big thank you for the support provided by Care Shop.
Barbara Meeks, Care Shop Managing Director said "It's fantastic that we have received recognition from one of our valued customers. It vindicates the partnership approach we adopt when working with all of our customers. The ceremony was a celebration of the extraordinary dedication, passion and hard work that Berkley Care Group's teams bring to the lives of those they care for and we are delighted to be associated with such an exceptional organisation".

Shane Wootton, Care Shop Corporate Account Manager, recently undertook a 20 mile walk to raise funds for people suffering with MND.
He participated in the Darby Rimmer Foundation's March of the Day 2 walk, taking in football grounds around London.
Shane completed the walk in 6 hours 30 minutes, starting at Wembley Stadium and calling in at Barnet FC, Wingate & Finchley, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal. He was joined by Jamie Redknapp (ex footballer) and TV presenter Jim Rosenthal.
Shane said "I moaned a lot, especially in the last 2 miles as it felt like someone was stabbing me all over my legs, this is mainly because I'm old!" He then travelled back to Wembley to watch England v Albania that evening.

So far Shane has raised an incredible £5,604 with more to come hopefully.
Well done Shane it's a terrific achievement and it's great to see such a worthy cause benefiting.

The Care Shop Sales Team recently had the pleasure of a site visit at the Tork Factory in Skelmersdale.
Sarah Bond, Care Shop's Purchasing Manager said "we have a close working relationship with our suppliers and we were delighted to be allowed to visit Tork's factory at Skelmersdale. It provided an opportunity for our sales team to understand the products and the processes behind the manufacturing of them. The information learned will allow our sales team to pass on their knowledge and help our customers make more informed purchasing decisions".
Sarah wanted to thank Teresa Hickey from Tork for hosting the Care Shop team so well.

It was a privilege to sponsor the Compassion and Dignity Award at the recent Lovett Care & New Care Awards.
It was a special evening, celebrating everything good about the Care Home sector.
The winner of the award was Roshni Rijo (Twyford House Care Home) and the two runners up were Segun Adesogbon (The Rhallt Care Home) and Susan Williams (The Hamptons Care Home).
