We are TDDI (Treatment of Disease ,Disorders or Injuries)registered ,specialising in complex care.
We are seeking UK based/Switch compassionate, enthusiastic, dedicated, committed and reliable individuals to join our friendly team on a part-time OR full-time basis. You must be able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours
Shifts times vary from (7am start),one late Shift (10pm finish) and alternate weekends
Candidates to fulfil health and social care roles in Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Gloucestershire, England.
What you’ll need:
• The right to work in the UK
• A DBS Disclosure check
• Must have a full UK Driving Licence/Valid International License ( Manual)
• 39 hours of work per week & pay a minimum of £11.44 per hour with real career progression.
• Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards the residents and other people in the home
• Be an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members
• Be able to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice
Your key responsibilities as a Care Assistant include:
As a Care Assistant you’ll support people with their care needs in their homes (Domiciliary Care)
• Empower Independence: Assist service users with their daily routines, from getting dressed to staying active, while encouraging them to make positive choices and remain as independent as possible.
• Personalized Care: Follow and support each resident’s personalized care plan, providing hands-on help and thoughtful attention to their individual needs.
• Health and Wellbeing: Keep a close eye on residents’ health, communicating any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, and helping with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
• Champion Dignity: Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued and cared for in every interaction.
• Social Support: Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
• Safety and Comfort: Work with housekeepers to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, and respond quickly to emergencies or call bells.
• Nutritional Support: Assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
• Spread Smiles: Above all, bring joy to our residents’ lives and make them smile every day.
