We’re so excited to be supporting The Vale Family Hub as our 2026 Charity of the Year, as chosen by our residents.

The charity helps people in North Dorset who are struggling financially or who just need a friendly welcoming space to relax and enjoy.

We can’t wait to spend the year raising funds, learning more about their work, and making a difference together with our residents, team, and community.

We were proud to recently present a cheque to Sturminster Newton Heritage Trust, our 2025 Charity of the Year, following a year of fundraising at Newstone House.

Thanks to the enthusiasm of our residents, the support of families and friends, and the dedication of our team, we raised an incredible amount... and had a lot of fun along the way!

Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising activities and helped make this possible.

December has been a busy month for birthdays at Newstone House! Our chefs created eleven cakes to celebrate, each one carefully crafted for the residents.

Gail was one such recipient, beginning her celebrations with lunch out with her daughters and returning home to a beautiful birthday cake. Here she is pictured with nurse Merusha, admiring our chef's handiwork. Gail described her day as “a most marvellous time.”
