Many of our resident came together and played a game of scrabble, all residents were very engaged with helping each other make different words.

Following a game of scrabble we then made some fruit kebabs and had a little quiz on fresh fruits, our residents feedback was very positive! 🥝🍌

We spent the afternoon following the instructions and building the figures together — lots of focus, teamwork, and fun all round 😊

We decided to make shortbread in our Catchpole court bake-off session!

We rolled the mixture and then used a star shape and a circle cutter to make the biscuits, when the tray was full we headed to the kitchen and Dave cooked them for us.

They then returned warm and ready to eat! 😍✨

"My Christmas cake was inspired by the resident who all said they loved my carrot cake my chocolate cake and jam and almond cake.

I thought I would make all three of them and put it in the style of a present so when they cut in to it it would be a nice surprise for them. And to topped it all with some festive fairy lights just to make them smile."

When the frost lay on the floor and the weather was bitter, Ruth brought the hot chocolate station in and we made ourselves some amazing mugs of hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows! ✨

The cream was all over the place but we had giggles and all enjoyed the drink 😆💜
