To mark ’sDay, we welcomed Leanne from the Frederick Douglass musical for a live performance 🎀🎢

Catchpole Court always loves a good sing-along and dance, and the interaction throughout was brilliant.

Leanne brought great energy and the residents responded to every moment.

Mary visited Catchpole Court as a volunteer and spent the afternoon helping residents practise their card-making skills so they’re ready for creating Christmas cards for their loved ones πŸŽ„βœ‚οΈπŸ’Œ
Everyone got involved and produced some brilliant designs alongside her.

Mary has already asked to come back, and of course we said yes.

Thank you, Mary, for your time and for getting to know our residents. See you again soon ⭐️

Residents filled the lounge for a lively wartime sing-along with the Christopher Singers. Flags waving, voices strong, and a brilliant atmosphere all the way through.

After the music, everyone enjoyed tea, biscuits and a warm chat with the choir β€” a lovely chance to share memories together.

Take a look at the videos below to relive the sing-along.

We all met in the garden and done a morning of weeding which was very much needed, we were gifted with daffodil bulbs and Doreen very kindly planted them for us πŸ’œπŸŒ»

Our friends stayed for lunch and then after lunch joined us all in our favourite game of bingo.

Dennis made his head whilst Les made the body, then Rosalie and Beryl made his legs, we stood him out in the garden as we are so pleased!

Take a look at this team work! 😍
