Laughter, teamwork, and a little friendly fun 💜⚽

We came together for a group activity with the soft ball, challenging ourselves to see how long we could keep the ball off the floor while passing it around the circle.

There was lots of laughter, great teamwork, and plenty of smiles along the way. Sometimes, it’s the simplest games that bring the most joy.

💜🐾 We were delighted to welcome Noodles the dog for a special visit! Vincent and Noodles enjoyed a lovely walk together across the water meadows, taking in the beautiful scenery and fresh air.

Vincent said the views were “so lovely” and that he would love to go for another walk across the meadows again.

When the residents asked to decorate cupcakes… we couldn’t say no 💜🧁

We baked a batch of delicious cupcakes and brought out the red, white, and blue icing so everyone could get creative with their own unique designs. From colourful swirls to imaginative decorations, there were plenty of wonderful creations made and lots of smiles along the way!

☕💜 A heartfelt thank you from Ruth to everyone who joined us for our Dementia UK “Time for a Cuppa” afternoon at Catchpole Court.

The home was filled with conversation, support, and plenty of delicious cakes, alongside a small raffle and goodie bags for our guests to enjoy.

It was lovely to see so many people come together, helping create such a warm and uplifting afternoon 💜

🌿 A lovely day with our Befriending friends 🌿

We were joined by our friends from the befriending scheme for a day full of garden activities.

We planted vegetables and refreshed the decking with a new coat of paint. Jackie, Thomas, Vincent and Lyn were busy planting seeds to grow our own vegetables, while Les helped the team with painting.

It was a wonderful day of teamwork, laughter, and great interaction. We look forward to seeing you all again soon 💜

🧘‍♀️ Yoga & Games Fun 🧘‍♂️

Following our weekly yoga session, we enjoyed a lively game of catch.

Vincent and Lyn impressed everyone with a perfect 10/10 for their catching skills, while Pat kept a low profile behind some sunglasses! Nina also showed great skill.

There were lots of smiles and laughter, and it’s clear everyone really enjoyed the game 💜

One of our residents, Patrick, used to attend a monthly breakfast club with three close friends from his home village; Something he had been dearly missing.

After chatting with Patrick’s wife, Ruth helped make it happen. Soon, all four friends were reunited and enjoyed a full English breakfast together, complete with Patrick’s favourite - black pudding, kindly brought along by his friends.

It was a truly heartwarming morning, and safe to say everyone left with smiles on their faces. Roll on the next visit 😊

We gathered together, sitting in a circle, to watch something a little different - a fantastic tap dance show from Ella Brown. 💃

There was plenty of clapping along and even a singalong to some of the songs, creating a lovely atmosphere for everyone.

Vincent requested a game of dominoes, with Liz kindly helping Nina, while Lyn teamed up with Vincent 😊

There were plenty of laughs along the way. Although Vincent didn’t win many games, he said he just needs more practice! 😂💜
