✨ Days 5 and 6 of Wild Wood Holiday Club ✨
Swings swayed, bridges were built, sticks became tools and toys (and beds!) and hammocks were the perfect spot for a rest between adventures. The children played manhunt through the trees, lit fires and worked as a team to follow clues on a treasure hunt.
Dens were built, mud was squelched, whittling skills were sharpened and new friendships were made. The children’s creative side shone through with clay leaves, pompom acorns and colourful painting.
And to top it all off? We cooked crab apples over the fire and dipped them in homemade jam and sprinkles – the perfect sweet ending to two days of woodland fun.
A huge thank you to my wonderful helpers for their support and inspiration, and to all the parents and carers for making the club possible by bringing the children along.
🌿 Bookings are now open for our October Half Term sessions on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th October – come and join the adventure! Find out more here:

It was lovely to welcome so many children, families and a diverse range of teddies 🧸🦖🦈 to Charlotte’s Wood yesterday for our annual Teddy Bears’ Picnic 🧺. The children loved exploring all the woodland had to offer from spotting hiding bears and foraging for food to relaxing in a hammock with their teddy. We finished with a picnic and story followed by games of hide and seek - a lovely morning full of fun and laughter!
