Today has been lovely. Catching up with my clients and even sneaking in an ice cream break in the garden with one of them😊🍦🌞
Now catching up on accounts and receive a lovely msg from a new client's daughter I met today 🥰

I am sorry if you've been waiting for me to get back to you... I have been FLAT OUT this week (including a flat tyre!)

I will be responding to all calls and emails tomorrow.

Hope everyone is having a good week, and enjoying the sunshine 🌞

✨ A little update from me ✨

I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported my business – whether you’ve booked an appointment, recommended me, or followed along here. It honestly means the world 🫶

Because of your support (and a very busy diary!), I’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily close my books to new clients. This is so I can continue to give my current clients the time, care, and high standards of treatments that they deserve 💛

If you’re already a client, nothing changes for you – you’re my priority and I can’t wait to keep looking after you 👣

I will of course update you all on here when I’m able to welcome new clients again/if a last minute none routine appointment arises.

In the meantime, thank you for keeping me so busy and making my business enjoyable! 🥰

I'm really sorry if you're waiting for me to get back to you, it's been a really really manic week so far (and it's only Tuesday!) - I will respond to everyone waiting for me first thing tomorrow, I promise. (I'm not sure many would appreciate a nearly 10pm callback whilst I finally sit down to do paperwork!)

Who's for another oddly satifying before and after? 👀 ...
🪄

Fab clients keeping me on my toes, so I can keep you comfortably on yours! 👣

Just to say I hope everyone has a lovely Easter weekend...

Early morning accounts session done and all enquiries caught up on, so I'm now signing out for a couple of days break. ☺️

I will respond to all enquiries from Tuesday.
Now for lots and lots of chocolate !

A reminder about appointment cancellations and kindness. I'm sorry that I have to write this...

As a small business, my diary is frequently fully booked.

When appointments are cancelled at short notice it leaves gaps that are very difficult to fill, while other people are waiting for appointments.

For this reason, appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will incur a minimum service cancellation fee. This is stated on my website and within consultation forms. This will need to be paid before future bookings are made. It is not something I want to do, however feel it necessary so my business is not left short due to it.

I also expect communication with my business to remain respectful and courteous. Harassing, aggressive, or abusive messages will not be tolerated and will result in being removed from my books and coveyed within my FHP network.

Thankfully, I am lucky that the vast majority of my lovely bunch of clients are wonderful, and I truly appreciate the kindness, respect, and support you show me, and my small business each and every day.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support...it really does mean a lot 💚

I made my new client cry today...🫣 BUT IN A GOOD WAY, I PROMISE!!

They couldn't remember when they had last managed to have their toe nail's cut, or find someone to take on the challenge... so naturally I thought 'bring it on!' 🫣

Armed with nippers, a drill, a combination of different burs, files, (and some daft pork scratching gags from their friend), I worked my magic...🪄

A really satisfying job done, and instant comfort and relief for this client 🙌

Quite possibly one of my favourite before and afters to date 🤩

“Why does it feel like I have a stone in my shoe?” 👣

If you’ve ever had that feeling when walking, it could actually be a corn.

A corn is a small area of hard, thickened skin that forms when there is repeated pressure or friction on the foot. Your body creates this extra skin to protect itself, but over time it forms a hard central core that presses into the deeper layers of skin.
That’s why it can feel like you’re standing or walking on a tiny stone, even when there’s nothing in your shoe.

Corns commonly develop:
• On the tops or sides of toes
• Between the toes
• On the ball of the foot

They are often caused by:
👟 Tight or poorly fitting shoes
🦶 Toe deformities such as hammer toes
🚶 Areas of high pressure when walking
❗ Corns are often confused with verrucas, but they’re different — corns are caused by pressure, not a virus.

Because walking shouldn’t feel like you’ve got a stone in your shoe. 👣

How beautiful has this weather been!

Sunshine makes everything better...including for our feet - Vitamin D contributes to stronger, healthier nail growth and improves circulation to our feet...🌞..Ok, it needs to be a bit warmer - unfortunately the only miracles I can work, is on feet - sorry about that!😁
