Magic Elephant After School Club ✨️

We enjoyed having parents & siblings joining in with our 5-8 year old session at Staines Library.

We made the most of the sunshine and took our activities outside at the library 🌞

During the session we:
- Checked in about how the week has gone
- Explored feelings felt during the day at school
- Used imagination & teamwork to build a ramp
- Did a mindful painting activity
- Played a ball game together

The parents also enjoyed joining in with the activity and sharing about their thoughts and feelings. It was nice to see everyone in the group getting on and enjoying the moment.

Next week, we will be introducing breathing techniques and setting the group a meditation challenge 🧘‍♀️

Mindful Moments .elephant.ltd 🦋

We love using mindful colouring during our sessions, it's always very popular with our young people and even the adults 🧘‍♀️

During mindful activities like this, we give our mind an opportunity to switch from the usual chatter and thoughts to a more peaceful state of mind, which allows our body to feel calm and relaxed.

We often find that time goes by without anyone speaking because they are all enjoying the moment ✨️

Magic Elephant School Mindfulness Workshop 🌱

One of our activities involves the children picking a coloured card with a question.

One of the questions was about what they find difficult.

Their response was "talking in front of people". When the rest of the class was asked,nearly 90% agreed this is something they find hard, they added it makes them feel shy, nervous and "very, very scared"

Facilitating conversations like this are a key part of our .elephant.ltd mission to help empower young minds and build confidence & resilience.

Group discussions show children they are not alone with how they feel, and giving them tools and motivation to help with what they are struggling with, will help them build confidence for life.

Magic Elephant Community Allotment Sessions 🌱

We are so excited to be invited back to the Stanwell Community Allotments, to deliver mindfulness sessions for children ages 6-11 years in the local community 🧘‍♀️

The sessions will run on a Tuesday from 4-5pm starting 5th May 2026 for 6 weeks.

With special thanks to our partners for supporting us with the emerging needs grant to fund these spaces 💚

Today, we attended the additional needs showcase hosted by . It was great to meet with all the other services and see what support is available for children, young adults, and families in Surrey.

We also found out about the "what's up" parent support group that meets on a Tuesday and Thursday in Spelthrone. This is open to all parents who may need advice, support, or just a non judgmental space to be. You can talk as much or as little as you like.

This week, we celebrated the final session of our emotional wellbeing 6 week programme, in partnership with Surrey Care Trust & Spelthrone Family Centres 🙌

We are so proud of all the young people who attended & we are looking forward to our next group after Easter 🐣

We are also grateful to the parent who gave us a card at the end to thank us ✨️

This 6 week programme focused on helping young people explore feelings, build self-confidence, understand & express emotions, learn coping strategies, build communication skills, and build a growth mindset 🧠🌱

Primary school mindfulness workshop 🌱🧠

We practised a Box Breathing technique with a Year 3 class, with some students coming to the front to guide the class through the exercise.

When children become part of the process, it becomes so much more engaging & empowering 🙌

Letting students lead builds confidence, keeps the whole class involved, and helps them really remember the skill.

Breathing together also creates a shared moment of calm in the classroom, learning together a simple tool for when they feel overwhelmed.

Small moments like this can make a big difference to how children understand and manage their emotions.

1:1 emotional wellbeing support ✨️

When we work 1:1 with our young people, we first and foremost build trust and a strong rapport, so they feel calm and comfortable in session.

We teach them communication skills to enable them to express feelings, thoughts, concerns, and wishes

Then, we give them the tools to boost their confidence, build a strong mindset, become resilient, and educate on how to take care of their mental + emotional wellbeing.

Our support can be delivered in the home, school, or out in the community - today's session was in a private pod in the local library.

We offer a free 15-minute get to know you session online with no commitment to sign up

We then deliver tailored support either one off, pay as you go, or in a package

Magic Elephant Ltd School Mindfulness Workshop 🌱

The teachers enjoyed the activities we provided for the children during the workshops. All of our activities are engaging - as well as educational so children can learn key life skills for their wellbeing while having fun.

The teachers recognised the engagement in the class, which was inclusive of SEN students ✔️

And they felt calm & relaxed - which is so important for teachers, most of the teachers we speak to are so stressed.

We also asked what can be added or improved so that we can constantly improve our sessions to make them of the highest quality possible 🙌
