Induction Completed! Welcome to the Sunderland Care Team!

We are thrilled to announce that our latest members, Courtney, Melissa, Julie, Omo, Abbie, Danielle, and Kate, have successfully completed their two-week "Prepare to Care" induction program! 🎉

Over these past two weeks, these amazing ladies have shown 100% dedication to our vision and values of providing quality care services. We couldn’t be prouder of their commitment, enthusiasm, and hard work! They have embraced everything with open arms, and now they’re all kitted out with the training, uniforms, and equipment they need to excel in their roles!

As they transition into their next phase, you will start seeing them shadowing our Care Team Leaders over the following days. This process is designed to ensure that they become fully confident in all aspects of their roles, and we are excited to watch them grow and develop within our team. We promise you’ll see their personalities shine as they settle in!

While they might seem a tad shy when you first meet them, don’t worry! Over the course of their training, we discovered that each of them has a unique range of interests and hobbies. We are excited to share that Week 2 of our new employee induction program is nearly complete!

Our new recruits have been diving into a variety of training sessions, and today’s focus was particularly important – moving and handling training for our care staff.

It's vital for our team to understand the safety aspects involved in moving and handling clients, ensuring both the well-being of those in our care and the staff assisting them.

Today, our new starters engaged in hands-on learning, practicing techniques that promote safe lifting and moving, while also fostering a compassionate approach to care. Seeing everyone’s enthusiasm and willingness to learn has been incredibly rewarding! 👐

At our Care at Home, we pride ourselves on our strong commitment to safety and client care – values that are at the heart of everything we do.

This training is just one of the many steps we take to ensure our staff is well-equipped to provide the best care possible for our clients.
