March is Endometriosis Awreness month. Endometriosis is a chronic condition affecting 1 in 10 women. It occurs when tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows outside the uterus, causing inflammation, pain, and scar tissue. Key symptoms include severe menstrual pain, chronic pelvic pain, pain during or after s*x, bowel/bladder pain, and heavy bleeding.

Get Involved:
Go Yellow! Yellow is the global color for endometriosis awareness, used to highlight the cause in schools and workplaces.

Support & Education: Organizations like Endometriosis UK offer resources and support services.

Awareness Actions: Sharing information to highlight that severe period pain is not normal and encouraging GP consultations

Support for survivors of r**e and s*xual assault, abuse or violence

The 2nd of February marks the beginning of Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness week, NHS England is raising awareness of s*xual assault referral centres (SARCs). Available across England, these specialist services offer practical, medical and emotional support to anyone who has been r**ed, s*xually assaulted or abused at any time in their life.
