As a midwife, I have the privilege of witnessing just how powerful women truly are. I see strength, resilience, love, fear, courage and determination every single day.

Today is for the women who grow life.
For the women who bring life into the world with incredible strength.

But it is also for the women whose journeys look different.

For the women who nurture, guide and love the next generation.
For the women who experience unimaginable loss.
For the women who battle every day hoping to grow life.
For the women navigating fertility struggles, pregnancy loss or heartbreak that often goes unseen.

For the mothers.
The stepmothers.

Trust your body. Your body was designed to birth your baby. Breathe, stay calm, and listen to what your body is telling you during labour.

✨ Postnatal Tip of the Day:
Be gentle with yourself. Recovery takes time, your hormones are shifting, and you’re learning a whole new life with your baby. Rest when you can and accept help when it’s offered.
