Lynwood Village (Sunningdale, Ascot, SL5 0FG) has a purpose-built hydrotherapy pool with water and air conditioning systems ensure the highest standards of water hygiene. Easy access including a manual hoist chair and changing room.
Hydrotherapy had been around for decades but as time as progressed the evidence for its benefits has just grown and grown. Just being in the water, and the pressure of that water, increases the heart rate (which is exercise!). This in addition to all the benefits of being able to exercise in water with;
• less stress on joints (as the water carries ones weight)
• more safety as the risk of fall and their consequences is much reduced
• no need for weights as muscles can be strengthened using water resistance
• more fun!

We have experienced adult aquatic physiotherapists with good results and offer Intensive rehabilitation and therapy treatment blocks.

One-to-one sessions are available as well as circuit exercises in the pool with a maximum of four.
