As soon as I decided to organise a Cuppa & Cake Afternoon for Turn Rosliston Pink, I knew exactly who to ask - the Chair Yoga Crew 💪❤️🧘‍♀️

We had just 30 minutes to set up before class and 20 minutes after class to get everything ready to welcome our guests… and they of course absolutely smashed it!!

Baking, setting up, washing pots, drying pots, collecting pots, making drinks, serving cakes, selling raffle tickets and more - they really are the dream team!!

One of our ladies who is almost 88 did not stop - I just don't know how she does it 😊

And unbelievably, with the help and support of the amazing Rosliston community, we raised £1001.07!!!!

What an incredible amount of money to go towards Turn Rosliston Pink and Cancer Research UK 💕

Our lovely Chair Yoga class is every Wednesday at 1pm, you really should come and join us ❤️

💕 Turn Rosliston Pink starts today 💕

As many of you know, cancer has touched my life, and I know it’s something that’s affected so many people in our village and wider community too - whether that’s personally or through someone you love ♡

It’s something that has sadly touched many within my yoga community too 🧘‍♀️💕

Over the next two weeks, we have a chance to come together, raise awareness, and raise money for Cancer Research UK 💗

All of the events are attached - it would be so lovely to see you and to have you support us ♡

There will also be a collection box at all of my classes over the next 2 weeks 🥰

What a busy & productive weekend I’ve had ☀️💕

A few months ago I was asked by Burton & District Fundraising Group for Cancer Research if I would organise Turn Rosliston Pink… and I had a vision of filling the village with pink bunting!

It’s taking a lot of work by so many - from sewers and climbers to event organisers, bakers & much more - but it’s all coming together beautifully 💕

Turn Rosliston Pink runs from 1st to 16th May, with lots of events and fundraisers happening throughout, which I’ll be sharing with you all 💫

But for now… it’s back to work for me 😊

Happy Friday everyone ♡

I hope you’ve all had a lovely week 😊

Mine has been a little chaotic! The extension is coming along really well, but of course that brings its own mess and disruption, along with hospital appointments too - so it’s definitely been a busy one.

Also, with the help of the lovely locals in Rosliston, I’m organising Turn Rosliston Pink - fundraising (and turning the village Pink!) from 1st to 16th May for Cancer Research, a cause, as you know, very close to my heart ❤️

I’ve been teaching you lovely lot too, and thank you so much to everyone who’s practised with me this week 💫

We managed to catch some sunshine this afternoon walking to The Milk Tap at Longlands Farm - just outside of Rosliston ♡

What a fantastic idea and having it so local is amazing 😊

They have even offered to provide the milk for my Cuppa & Cake charity event on 6th May! ♡

💗 As part of Turn Rosliston Pink, raising money for Cancer Research UK, I’m holding a Cuppa & Cake afternoon on Wednesday 6th May from 2.30pm ☕🍰

Thankfully, some of my lovely Chair Yogis are helping with the baking too… so it won’t just be my flat Victoria sponge on offer 😆♡

Everyone is very welcome - whether you pop in for a cuppa, a slice of cake, or just to show your support 💗

I’ve also had a few lovely offers from people to make cakes for this event - if you’re still able to help with that, please do let me know. It would be so appreciated ♡

It hasn’t exactly been the most glamorous of weekends 😅

There’s been a lot of work going into our extension, so I’ve spent more time looking like a builder than a yoga teacher!

I did manage to escape for a few hours to the Sundae Wellness launch, where I’ll be starting to teach from this Wednesday 💫

Sundae is a beautiful new space in the heart of Swadlincote, and I’m really looking forward to being part of it ♡

Happy Friday Everyone - and the sun is shining ☀️ 💛

It’s been such a busy week and I haven’t even had chance to post anything about the Spring Awakening Workshop on Saturday!

I really enjoyed this workshop (pictured) - we gently moved into spring with some flowing movement, then slowed things right down with softer movement and finished with a relaxing sound bath ♡

Thank you so much to everyone who joined me 😊

We are also starting a home extension, so that is definitely keeping us on our toes at the moment - hence my lack of social media!

Today is sunny and I believe tomorrow will be the same too - let’s hope this is the start of some beautiful spring weather over the next few weeks ☀️🌱

Well… I definitely didn’t expect my water b**b video to reach so many people! 😂

For anyone new here, I’m Hayley, a yoga teacher in Rosliston, Swadlincote, Derbyshire 🧘‍♀️

Yoga supported me hugely through and after cancer treatment, and I teach weekly classes, workshops, day retreats and 1:1 sessions, helping others build strength, mobility, flexibility, focus & calm.

Yoga absolutely helps my all-round wellbeing and I love, so much, sharing it with others. I also offer Reiki sessions and online 1:1 yoga, so support is available wherever you are 💫♡
