Today is National Gardening Day 🌳🌱🌞 The weather in Swadlincote is set to be highs of 14 today with sunshine, so it's perfect to be out in the garden. Potatoes and onions love being planted in April, but if you're lacking in space, carrots will happily grow in pots and with frosts still lingering in the night, seeds such as sunflower seeds will need to be indoors. Enjoy 💚

Today we're celebrating National Walking Day 👣 Walking is a great free way to get some fresh air, gentle exercise and enjoy the beauty of nature. Swadlincote Woods was a beautiful location for our walk this morning. Did you know that every other Monday (next walk is Monday 14th April) our friends Mind provide a free walk. Meet at 1pm, at Swadlincote Woodlands Nature Reserve Car Park, (DE11 8LP). If you're looking for company on a more regular basis, we do offer companionship. We work hard to understand your individual needs to partner you with the perfect carer 💚
