WHAT IS A CALORIE DEFICIT?

Many ask this question and get the wrong end of the stick, thinking it’s just watching your calories.

Whilst yes, you ARE watching your calorie intake, you also need to watch your OUTTAKE!

Simply put, to be in a calorie deficit, is to be where you eat FEWER calories than you’re burning.

It’s possible by burning those calories through physical exercise and reducing the amount of food you have. This is the best way to get yourself into a deficit to lose weight and maintain it.

The amount of calories you need is a very personal thing, all depending on your age, weight, height, s*x, activity level etc. This is why it’s important to gather this information when working plans out.

Good morning and a belated happy new year!

Just wanted to jump on real quick to say that I’ve decided to take a little break!
In that time, I plan on completing more courses, hopefully including children nutrition!
But also, my mental health hasn’t been the best it can be, so I need a little time to concentrate on that and get myself back up!

But please keep your eyes peeled, and I’ll be back as soon as I am able with lots more help, tips, advice and knowledge!
