International Women's Day

A day to love and honour all Women and what we stand for .

So today it seems fitting that I dedicate it to this outstanding and very remarkable lady. One I have the pleasure of calling one of my best friends .

On December 22nd 2022 Leigh was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer. She went through Chemo and she always showed up , no matter what, in fact this photo was taken last March after a session and she got up did her makeup, hair and messaged to say she was doing ok. ❤️

Fast forward to the summer 2023 and life was looking up again .

In Dec 22 2023, I took that dreaded call from her to say her Cancer had returned .

On 28th February Leigh gained her angel wings . It's seems her's were ready but our heart's were not.

She was a massive part of my life, thrived on empowering women and supporting them through the difficult journey of menopause . That was her mission in life .

She was also a huge part of the Hypnotherapy community, not just the UK , but worldwide and internationally.

She was always there with a kind word, full of love and had a wicked sense of humour too.

So darling Leigh I dedicate this Women's Day to you.

Your work in Menopause will live on through me ❤️

Can we go into Menopause at 40?

Great question. When I speak to women under the age of 45, when I hear their symptoms, I think Definitely Peri Menopause ! " Although their health care and advisors may tell them differently.

So Yes, it's possible for some women to start experiencing perimenopause, the transition into menopause, in their 40s.
Stats show 1 in every 100 will experience these symptoms earlier .

However, menopause typically occurs between the ages of 45 and 55, with the average age being around 51.

If you have concerns about menopause or your reproductive health, it's best to consult with a healthcare provider. But go in armed as many will fail to recognise this .

This transitional phase leading to menopause can bring about various physical and emotional changes, including increased anxiety for many women. Understanding this phenomenon and learning coping strategies can make this journey smoother.

**Understanding Perimenopause and Anxiety:**

Perimenopause, the stage leading up to menopause, typically begins in a woman's 40s but can start earlier or later. During this time, hormone levels fluctuate, particularly estrogen and progesterone, which can affect mood regulation.

**Causes of Anxiety:**

Also ensure they you have been given bio identical hormones not the synthetic rubbish they try to pass off.

The changes within us can affect them also.

When I realised this I had to sit my two teenagers down and explain how I was feeling .

Like most teenagers, they don't really understand but every now and then I remind them.

The Birth of The Energy Balance Module - R.E.F.O.R.M.

Hello, thanks for dropping into my page. I’m Jacquelyn Haley - Clinical Hypnotherapist & Advanced Holistic Health Coach . I’m a graduate of The University of Glamorgan based in the UK, South Wales. I have been a practising therapist since 2009 . My mission is to facilitate healing with women 35 and over , to take them from a place of heartache, trauma, grief and anxiety to a place of freedom, happiness and fulfilment.

It was February 2018 that I became involved in an online training programme hosted by Scott Lawerence of The Advanced Hypnosis Training Academy in Austrailia. Part of the training was to write a course based on a teachable framework , I chose R.E.F.O.R.M . I wanted a word to describe transform with out it being too “samey”. It was perfect . The EBM is based on my self recovery from Grief and Trauma. I wanted a programme that I could deliver on line, at events and workshops and on a one to one basis. I also wanted to put in to practice all that I am qualified to teach in. It was put together quite by accident - however, fast forward six months and to date its been so successful!

The Energy Balance Module - R.E.F.O.R.M. is a simple process which I believe is needed, to create positive lasting change in your life. Set in six weekly sessions, I teach you how to understand your behaviour and how, by incorporating simple strategies into your life, you can release negative emotions and negative thought/ behavioural patterns. I will also teach you invaluable skills which you can practice in the comfort of your own home - making these changes permanent.

Based on Neuroscience & Metaphysics, I have been fortunate to train with several excellent teachers in many subject areas, thus bringing to you a winning combination of six key elements which are not only powerful and dynamic - but guarented to change your life on many levels.
