As I parked my car this morning at I looked up to see the lowest lying rainbow 🌈 I think I've ever seen. It seemed to just be sitting right in the middle of the street in front of me. It's been a week of spotting rainbows with all of this cleansing rain we've been having.

🌈 Rainbows generally symbolise hope and encouragement. Something that I think we could all do with a little of at this point in time. I just wanted to share a little wonder this morning in between the grey clouds that roll through. After every storm there's a little light peeping through, reminding us that better days are coming.

Have a good weekend all.

I have evening homeopathy slots available for online bookings next week and some Friday daytime slots. Link is in the bio. 💕

Starting back at school after six weeks at home can be difficult or some children and they may be frought with worries that get in the way of them enjoying school.
This is something I've had personal experience with and wanted to share techniques that can be helpful as well as a remedy that can help when you have a little one who is sturggling with the thought of separation. If the child is:

⭐️ Emotional and clingy
⭐️ Really upset at the thought of being spearated from mum or dad at the school
gate
⭐️Really wants to be cuddled and consoled.

A dose of pulsatilla 30c can be a great help.

As well as having a remedy, talking through the worries can also help. We started a 'worry jar'. Every time a worry came up we wrote it on a post it then folded it up and placed it inside the jar so it was out of the head, sometimes the action of this and having a physical representation of that was enough to move some of the worries. I would empty the jar each night and we could start fresh the next day.

Sometimes something more tangiable can be useful for the times when little ones are apart from one the people they love the most. On the first day back or on days that are difficult, try drawing a little heart on your childs hand and let them draw one on yours. You can make an agreement that when they need a little extra love through the day, or are having a tough time, if they rub the heart then you will know that they are thinking of you and you could send them a little extra love from your heart. Setting up something like this can really help to strenthen the idea of connection and we found that it helped with drop off and found there sometimes were less worries to talk through at the end of the day. Having a visual symbol there can be a lovely reminder that they are not alone and vice versa! 💕

If you'd like to find out more about the remedy mentioned above or give these techniques a go, I'd love to hear how you got on. We found them very helpful. It can be hard for parents and carers in these situations too. 💕

Natrum Muriaticum or Nat Mur for short is one of the most widely used homeopathic medicines. It's made from good ole' sodium chloride, sea salt or rock salt.

This is the first remedy I used long before I knew what homeopathy was or how it worked. Through my teens and early twenties I used to have debilitating migraines, that were only helped by lying down in a dark and quiet room; no painkillers touched them the visual disturbances were really annoying as I could only partially see. They were triggered by strong smells, bright lights, loud noise, all of which I was encountering every day. I had bloodtests at the doctors and they prescribed medication. That did work, but made me feel so lightheaded and drowsy, I had to lie down anyway, so I didn't end up taking it.

Years later, my brother, who also had migraines, told me about these wonderful little pills he had been using called Nat Mur which were helping really helping him. I decided to give it a go. Much to my joy, I found when the spots appeared in my vision, if I took one of these little wonder pills, the visual disturbances would stop and the headache either didn't appear, or would be much less intense and manageable.

As an added bonus I noticed when I had a cold sore if taken at the tingle stage. Sometimes, they didn't even appear or would be smaller and have less of a sensation with them. I kept the little pills as my feeling 'run down' medicine. It had begun a process of me beginning to notice when I had overstretched myself. I started to listen to my body.

By just taking the remedy as I needed it, over time, my migraines appeared less often. I rarely have them now. I later saw a wonderful homeopath who helped me start to heal on a much deeper level.

During my homeopathic training, I learned so much more about this remedy and how it works with the body. But more than that, I learned these symptoms are messengers, signs to help draw attention to what we need to look at.

It's always good to consult a Homeopath if you have a long-term condition because they can see the bigger picture and guide you towards the best remedy match for your needs. Get in touch if you have any questions 💚

Sharing the joy of homeopathy with the lovely Mammies and Babies at this morning.

Homeopathy is a wonderful support for mum and baby. It can help Mum adjust to this new phase of life and can help raise depleted energy levels after the physical transition of givng birth, there are remedies that can help with exhaustion, and help to gently restore, repair and revitalise the body.

I've used homeopathy to help mums with physical recovery after c-section, to soothe the internal and external bruising, for taking care of the incision and often the shock that can go hand in hand with having experienced a surgical procedure.

There are remedies that can help with milk production and some of the challenges of feeding. As homeopathic remedies are Holistic and treat the whole person they also help with the emotional changes we experience after we become mothers. Sometimes there can be period of grief as we let go of our old life and move into the new.

The remedies are also fantastic for baby and can be a great support in settling colic, teething troubles, diahorrea, sickness, it can help to settle unhappy babies and help with sleep, gently and without any nasty side effects.

Two of the remedies I'm sharing today are:

🌼 Arnica which is good for :
-Bruising
-Shock
-Over exertion
-Grief
-People needing this remedy power through and tend to be 'fine' and keep going although those around them can see that they're not!

🌼 Chamomilla which is good for:
-Teething
-Colic
-Green loose nappies with colic
-Baby can have bright red cheeks and be very restless, irritable, and whine untll they are picked up. They are worse for being angry. They may be very thirsty.

The remedies are gentle enough to take during breast feeding and support both and baby.

If you're curious to know more, there are so many other remedies that can help then get in touch. 🌼🌸🌼🌸🌼

This here is my trusty little 18 remedy kit from Helios. It was the first kit I started out with. I've got a lot more remedies that I've built up now over time, but this little box of tricks still comes most places with me in my bag.

I thought it might be helpful to share some of the changes that I have noticed in our house over the four years of having these remedies to hand. I always leaned more toward natural remedies for most things for myself but when it came to my daughter I was more likely to reach for something over the counter because I wanted something fast and didn't want her to suffer.

I honestly was impressed when I started using the remedies with how they worked and when the match was right symptoms eased quickly in most cases.

I think my number one remedy from this little box of wonder has to be Aconite. Not only has it been amazing for early onset of colds, taking an aconite at the start of symptoms developing seemed to stop the full blown cold developing for us and if it did develop it was milder. More impressively for me though, was it's action during instances of fright. Moments where my daughter was younger and fell, or became frightened, when those hysterical tears would start, popping one of these on her tongue would calm her down in minutes. It seemed to move her through the fright and shock and she would be off playing again moments later as if nothing had happened. I think I need to write a whole post on aconite just because it's been so helpful for us!

Some other things that I have noticed since we started using homeopathy:

- We haven't needed to use paracetamol and ibuprofen anymore. Just by matching the physical and mental symptoms to the remedy pictures, we have soothed dental pain, managed the pain of braces, headaches, (I rarely get migraines anymore), muscle pain, sprains, joint pain, period pain. We have moved through these and more with the remedies.

- I think in four years we have only had to use antibiotics twice. Sore throats and ear infections, have been caught and soothed. Antibiotics can be really helpful when needed and save lives, but our bodies can build resistance to them with overuse and they can depleat the good bacteria in our gut and often have a list of nasty side effects. There aren't any side effects from the homeopathic remedies, they are gentle and safe to use with all ages.

- The remedies have helped to settle nervousness. There is lovely little remedy called pulsatilla that has helped move through sadness and worry that would pop up in the run up to going into school, and settling into bed at night. The moments where little ones are emotional and just want to be with their mum. People who need pulsatilla are better for being consoled and like a cuddle.

- The remedies have been helpful with sickness bugs helping to ease the symptoms more quickly. They are helpful in times of over-indulgence too, can be very helpful after a night out.

- I've watched splinters pop back out after a dose of silica!

- Barking, tickly coughs have been soothed.

There is so much more that we have used it for, but these are probably the biggies.

If you'd like to learn more about using these little wonders yourself, I am running an introductory course on the 6th September at the Yoga Place in Clydach. I'd love to help some more families use these gentle remedies. I wish I'd found homeopathy sooner but we find what we need at the right time for us.

Happy Friday! I'm at . The sun looks so beautiful streaming through the stained glass here today, casting a beautiful rainbow on the floor.

As I took in the twinkling of the sunshine through window, the inscription caught my eye it says, 'both hearing and answering their questions'. Which makes me smile because that is the heart of the homeopathic process. When you have a consultation, I listen then, ask you more questions for clarity, to really get to the root of what we are working on together. So I can get a fully rounded picture of you as a person.

There are bookings slots available next Friday and an introduction to homeopathy course on the 6th of Septemeber at 12.00. Looking forward to sharing why I love homeopathy so much and how it can help with your everyday niggles and your families as they pop up.💚

Happy Friday Beautiful People!

On the 6th September at 12pm I'll be running a short introduction to homeopathy session at beautiful The Yoga Place Abertawe in Clydach.

I'll be sharing some remedies that you can use at home yourself and with your family, we will cover:

- Remedies that are useful in first aid situations
- Remedies that can help with seasonal colds
- Remedies that can help with back to school bugs.
- Even remedies that can help with back to school worries.

I never looked back after attending my first introduction to homeopathy. My mind was blown by how quickly and gently the remedies worked with our family and it lead me to take a four year practioner course becase I wanted to learn as much about it as I could to help others. I think every home should have a basic kit. especially if you have children.

The session will be relaxed you will have a workbook to take away with information on the remedies for you to use at home.

We will have a break mid way with Vegan and Gluten free goodies and some warm drinks to nourish our bodies as well as our minds.

The afternoon will cost £25 and can be booked via .

(If you would like a kit of your own to get started then these can be ordered separately just message me directly for the details.)

It's a lovely slow Saturday morning here.

I hope everyone is managing some rest this weekend. It's so important to work some down time into your week where you can allow yourself the grace of slowness.

It's not always easy during the holidays if you're a parent, but early mornings with a lovely warm drink before the house stirred, has always been my sweet spot. Allowing me space to think and wake up fully before the day begins. It definitely helps me to be more patient and present when I do this for myself.

I have a few more spaces open next week for day, evening appointments and enquiry slots. So check out the booking button if you want to chat through anything homeopathy this week. I'm still at on Friday if you'd like an in-person appointment.

Have a lush weekend! 💚

It's a gorgeous Friday morning the sun is shining and I'm at I'm always in awe of how beautiful the space is here, found my eye wandering to the words ont he beautiful window in the Cwtch, 'Her children arise up and call her blessed her husband also and he praiseth her'. I felt those words as I read them. I think that's one of the ideals that we want to reach as parents, that we and our brood all feel blessed and adore one another.

In reality it doesn't always quite play out like that all the time does it? Especially in the summer holidays, some find that time can become a little stressful trying to meet everyone's needs and maybe we don't feel as though we don't have oppotunities to make time for ourselves as adults. Maybe our children may be struggling with lack of routine, or are still unwinding after a long and busy term and want to not do very much - parents of teens I'm looking at you!

Having lots of extra time together you may find that some behaviours rise to the surface, that maybe you weren't expecting or need a little support with.

If that's the case for you or little ones then worry not, homeopathy can help here, there are lots of different remedies that can help with sleep difficulties, challenging behaviour, exhaustion, some help with all things to the excess.

If you need a little support over these busy times. then please get in touch.

You can book in a no obligation chat to see if homeopathy can help you.

What a gorgeous sunny Friday! I've been for a lushious walk around the fields at the back of house in the glorious sunshine this morning soaking it all in and I thought as there are a few new faces here in this lovely little space, I'll do a little re-intoduction.

Hi! If you're new here I'm Kath. I'm a licensed homeopath, mum to a gorgeous 13 year old girl and I'm also a teaching assistant. I've had a page here for a while and you would have seen me sharing vibrant cold pressed juices and other healthy goodies here in the past. I've always been drawn to natural healing and am a firm believer that nature will always have a way to heal us as we are nature itself. Although I had these beliefs, I've always been curious and always felt that there was more for me learn.

When I first encountered homeopathy on an introductory course it blew my mind that there was a medicine system so simple but deep in and wide reaching in it's action. I loved that there were no nasty side effects, no nasty chemicals and you needed the minimum amount to help relieve symptoms. I just knew this was for me and I wanted to find out as much about it as I could so started on 4 year practioner course at the Welsh School of Homeopathy in Carmarthen. The results I have witnessed with my own family and friends and with the patients I have treated never cease to amaze me and I love to tell everyone about it! I think that every home should have a remedy kit to help with first aid and acute remedies, especially if you have children. I've seen it soothe shock, ease emotional hurt, get to work on bumps, bruises and scrapes and cuts, there are so many things that it can help with (I would be here all day listing everything!) I think the reason that I fell in love with it so much is that it looks at the person as whole. When you see a homeopath, they take on a detective role, they really get to know, all the little intricate details that make you, you. It's a rarity to sit and have someone listen to you talk about yourself, to vent, to get things off your chest and receive it all in a supportive non judgemental way.

If you too are curious and want to find out more, please do get in touch 💚
