We would really like to upgrade the garden this year as the weather is improving and we would like to spend a lot of time outdoors. We have set up a wish list page with Amazon again for anyone that may wish to contribute to this project. The money raised in the recent raffle will also be going to this project. Today marked the return of our swimming sessions after the winter break!

Our residents had a fantastic time getting back in the water, enjoying the gentle movement, laughter, and all the benefits that come with it 💙

If anyone is kindly able to help us out by volunteering for swimming every other Thursday from 9:30-11:30AM please speak to Beth or the admin ladies ☺️

Yesterday, we were lucky enough to enjoy the most incredible railway trip, completely gifted by Great Western Railway, and wow, what a day it was!

We took 12 of our lovely residents on the train to the Didcot Railway Centre, where there were smiles, stories, and so much reminiscing about years gone by 🚂💭

A huge thank you to Paul, Karen and the GWR team, as well as Jane, Martin, John and their team, who truly went above and beyond. From providing train travel, entry tickets, and even packed lunches for everyone; nothing was too much trouble. They were on hand all day making sure everything ran smoothly and that our residents and volunteers had the best possible experience 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who came along with us to help on the day - your support is, as always, so appreciated!

Trips like this mean the world, not just to our residents but to their families too. It’s something everyone is still talking about today, and memories that will last a long time ✨

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Orchid Cake Sale 🍰💛

We’re so pleased to share that we raised an incredible £122, which will go towards reborn dolls for our dementia units; something we know will make a real difference to our residents 🥰

Residents enjoyed spending time out in the garden, eating cake, with wonderful entertainment from Shayne Driscoll 🎶✨

A huge thank you to Swindon Town Football Club and their amazing team for visiting us this Easter 🐣⚽

They very kindly delivered an incredible 88 Easter eggs for our residents, which brought so many smiles across the home!

We had a fantastic time on our trip to STEAM Museum! 🚂✨

There were so many lovely moments spent reminiscing, exploring and taking in all the history around us. One part that really stood out was the exhibition about the closure of the railway works, which sparked lots of conversation and memories 💛
