Hello 👋 There have been some of you joining recently, and I thought I would introduce myself.

I am Judit, 42, originally from Spain, and have been living in London for over 18 years.

I didn't start practicing yoga but meditation over 10 years ago, as a way of controlling my thoughts better; I used to go to a Buddhist centre and even did a meditation retreat.

Then I found yoga during my career break and got hooked. What first got me was its physical challenges (I played basketball for a decade), but also the grounding that it brings.

Since then, my practice has evolved quite a lot though, and I don't follow the challenges and the physical side of it that much, but the slowing of the mind.

I love practicing more grounding styles such as yin, slow flow and restorative.

I am mum of Mila, 4, and Luca, almost 2, and matresense has changed me a lot, and also my priorities, that had been changing already, but are now much more clear: motherhood is the most important, so on my day to day there is a lot of balancing being a mum and being me.

I teach Restorative Yoga and Children'a Yoga at , which I really enjoy ❤️

I am currently in a transition stage, where I have more time for me, and I am taking the opportunity to do more of the things I like. So I am in the process of organising more, including a Family Retreat, so watch this space.

Ah! And I am doing another workshop at the end of the month, so if you don't have any plans join me, will be special.

This is a Retreat for the whole family.

An opportunity to switch off and reset through yoga, meditation, sound, nature, delicious plant-based food, and community, while staying in a magical retreat venue, nested next to the River Darent, a groundwater-fed chalk stream, and a beautiful spot for wild swimming.

The venue's natural surroundings can also be explored through walking routes or by visiting vineyards or historic places. There will be activities for all tastes.

Prices include accommodation, food and all activities.

You can come with the full family or just with your child.

Restorative yoga is a gentle, passive style of yoga focused on deep relaxation and healing.

We use props like bolsters and blankets to fully support the body in comfortable poses held for long durations (5-20 minutes). 

It's about doing "nothing" or very little, allowing the nervous system to reset, reducing stress, lowering heart rate, and promoting rest, unlike active yoga which builds strength and flexibility. 

The goal is effortless comfort to release tension, making it accessible for all levels, including those recovering from injuries or managing stress.  

We finish the session with a little sound bath✨

Flow, Restore and Sound 💫🌱 Spring Workshop

This workshop is an opportunity to find your light, rejuvenate your body and mind, and enter Spring with a sense of renewal.

Using meditation, yoga and sound we will create a space for self-enquiry, to allow the energy and the range of emotions and thoughts this season brings to surface, often around renewal, action, and new beginnings.

The workshop will start with a meditation practice, followed by a slow yoga flow to stretch and activate the body. This will lead into restorative yoga, a practice focused on physical, mental and emotional relaxation.

The workshop will finish with sound meditation, an immersive experience that uses sound waves to promote relaxation, healing and mindfulness.

All abilities are welcome.

Meditate, Flow, Restore Workshop - Save the date💫

This workshop is an opportunity to find our rhythm, restore our body and mind, and enter Autumn more balanced.

Using meditation, journaling, and yoga we will create a space for quiet self-reflection, to help us face the range of emotions and thoughts this season brings, often centered around change, reflection, and letting go.

The workshop will start with a meditation practice, followed by journalling. We will then move and stretch with a slow yoga flow. This will lead into restorative yoga, a practice focused on physical, mental and emotional relaxation.

Restorative Yoga - every Friday at 7.15pm at Dragongly Yoga Studio, Sydenham

What is it?
Restorative yoga is a relaxing style of yoga used to heal and help relieve stress.

In comparison to yin, poses are held effortlessly using more props and also held longer.

What to expect?
The session will start with a short meditation, followed by holding poses sitting or lying down for 5-6 minutes using props such as blankets, bolsters, blocks, bricks.

We will always finish in savasana with sound meditation using singing bowls and other sound instruments.

The class is already set up for you with the props when you arrive. The lights will be dimmed; there will also be candles and chill out music💫

Come Friday evening to recharge after a full week 🙏
