Hello 👋 There have been some of you joining recently, and I thought I would introduce myself.
I am Judit, 42, originally from Spain, and have been living in London for over 18 years.
I didn't start practicing yoga but meditation over 10 years ago, as a way of controlling my thoughts better; I used to go to a Buddhist centre and even did a meditation retreat.
Then I found yoga during my career break and got hooked. What first got me was its physical challenges (I played basketball for a decade), but also the grounding that it brings.
Since then, my practice has evolved quite a lot though, and I don't follow the challenges and the physical side of it that much, but the slowing of the mind.
I love practicing more grounding styles such as yin, slow flow and restorative.
I am mum of Mila, 4, and Luca, almost 2, and matresense has changed me a lot, and also my priorities, that had been changing already, but are now much more clear: motherhood is the most important, so on my day to day there is a lot of balancing being a mum and being me.
I teach Restorative Yoga and Children'a Yoga at , which I really enjoy ❤️
I am currently in a transition stage, where I have more time for me, and I am taking the opportunity to do more of the things I like. So I am in the process of organising more, including a Family Retreat, so watch this space.
Ah! And I am doing another workshop at the end of the month, so if you don't have any plans join me, will be special.
