Mental Health Awareness Week is next week (11–17 May)

This year’s theme is Take Action.

If you or someone you know needs mental health support, knowing where to find help is an important first step.

We’ve created a dedicated webpage with details of local activities and events taking place during the week, as well as information on urgent mental health support and local support groups.

Come along to the Rural Coffee Connect van at Tesco Syston on Monday 11th May. We're supporting Mental Health Awareness Week and you'll be able to chat to our staff, find out more information on the Syston Neighbourhood Mental Health Cafe as well as other local services and support.

If you're struggling, come along to our Syston Neighbourhood Mental Health Cafe - every Thursday 12pm - 6.30pm at the Community Centre on School Street. We offer a welcoming space for connection, calm, and conversation.

If life is tough and you're struggling, come along and see us at the Syston Neighbourhood Mental Health Cafe - we're open every Thursday 12pm - 6.30pm at the Community Centre on School Street. Please note that this week only we're open 12pm - 5.30pm.

Come and sit in our social area if you'd like a safe space, or speak to our team for a confidential 1:2:1 chat.

We are open on Thursdays from 12pm - 6.30pm and can support in lots of ways - we have a quiet, confidential area for 1:2:1 chats, or you can enjoy a cuppa sat in our social area. Our fabulous RCC Rural Coffee Connect van is out and about again in Charnwood - we're visiting Anstey & Birstall Co-op for six weeks from the 6th of January supporting local communities with loneliness & isolation, so come along, see us for a chat, an amazing barista coffee and see what's on in your local area.

We know how hard this time of year can be for some people, and with us being closed for a couple of weeks, we wanted you to be able to find support over the festive season if you need it... we're open again on the 8th of January, so please do come and see us then if you need us...

You don’t have to carry things on your own — we’re here for you whenever you need us.

When life gets hard and you're struggling, come along and see us at the Syston Neighbourhood Mental Health Cafe. We offer 1:2:1 support in a quiet confidential area, as well as social support and a cuppa. It's a drop in so you don't need to book, just come along and see us if you're finding things hard & you need some support. We see attendees from all around Charnwood, we're here if you need us... Please note, this is for 18+ only.
