The world we live in is changing rapidly in front of our eyes, technology & medical advances combined with our busy lives, mean that we can often feel like time is in fast forward. Taking time to think about how our ancestors once lived can be incredibly grounding. It can help us be more mindful and understand ourselves better. At some point most people have probably wandered what their ancestors did to earn a living? What smells and sounds that might have filtered through their homes or what they did to relax?
