Vernon is a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor, an Ecotherapist and a landscape gardener. He has worked in many different therapeutic settings, including with adult offenders in prisons, with young offenders in the community and as a drug and alcohol counsellor.
23 years ago Vernon was working as a builder, When he had a severe accident which left him paralysed. After three years of rehabilitation he managed to get himself back to where he was before the accident. A huge part of Vernon‘s rehabilitation was after leaving the hospital. This is when he immersed himself in nature to help him heal on a physical, psychological and spiritual level. Vernon is a big believer and advocate in Mother Nature as a healer. Today Vernon is a mental health advocate and is passionate about saving and healing people and the Earth, especially as it helped and healed him many years ago.
