Our bodies are a complex system and an interplay of many different factors can result in pain. Poor diet, lack of exercise, injury and illness, and environmental factors such as stress or toxin exposure can all have a substantial negative effect and cause inflammation and pain.

An estimated 7.1 million adults in England use prescription opioids for pain. Yet, their effectiveness and safety is disputed even amongst medical professionals. Opiod usage has more than doubled from 1998 to 2018 and has now been referred to as an opioid epidemic in the UK.

Dispensary Assistant
We have a vacancy for a keen and enthusiastic assistant to help in our busy dispensary at Helios Homoeopathy Ltd in Tunbridge Wells.

Experience is not necessary as full training will be given but a demonstrable interest and background in complementary / alternative therapies, especially homoeopathy, would be a distinct advantage.

This is a physical role which involves long periods of standing, mainly dispensing homeopathic remedies. Applicants will need to demonstrate dexterity, accuracy, attention to detail and basic computer skills as well as a professional approach to work and be able to perform in a busy working environment.

The hours are 9:00 to 5:30 for a minimum of 4 days a week. Occasional Saturdays would be required.
