Sarah and Judith are experienced yoga teachers offering yoga for health, an evidence based 10 week programme. Chairs, Mats and other equipment provided.

Judith has studied Yoga, Tai Chi and meditation for many years. She trained as a yoga teacher with the Devon School of Yoga in 2014, and obtained an additional teacher training qualification in Kundalini Yoga in 2018. She is also qualified to teach Breathwork and to support those with anxiety, depression and trauma. Judith worked in the NHS for many years as a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, and was a specialist advisor to the Police and Criminal Justice System in the facilitation of communication with vulnerable victims and witnesses. She is a director of the company My Health Pad CIC, and in this capacity carries out training to groups and organisations on aspects of mental and physical well-being, as well as being the content creator for the HealthPad app. Sarah has been a yoga teacher for over 10 years, having studied with friends of yoga. She also is trained in yin yoga, breath work, yoga Nidra ad sound healing. She is a qualified hypnotherapist and integrated eye movement practitioner. Sarah's degree is in pharmacy and she worked for many years for Pharmaceutical companies as a project manager. both Sarah and Judith have trained with Yoga in Health Alliance and are looking forward to introducing yoga and its benefits to many people through social prescribing.

Feeling anxious, isolated, or low? Yoga for Health is here to help! Starting Jan 10th at 9:45 AM at the Red and Black Club, we’re offering FREE yoga sessions designed for anyone who wouldn’t normally go to a yoga class.

✅ No upper age limit – it’s for everyone!
✅ No need to be fit, flexible, or have experience – all bodies welcome.

We are looking forward to starting the 10 week course . It is accessible yoga. Venue is being confirmed and we should be good to go in a month.
There will be chairs for everyone to sit on as well as to help with balance when we do standing postures.

yoga 4 health classes starting Oct/Nov in central Tavistock location , it will be by donation suggested donation £5-10. Financial constraints are not a barrier to this class, so do get in touch.
