With quite a few of the Army now having to return to normal life, but we were left with a small amount of donated money in our gofundme account, we thought it would be a lovely idea to donate some pictures to the Louisa Cary Ward from the Scrub Army!...Laura Wall Art and Illustration very kindly offered us a generous discount allowing us to purchase two framed prints, which today were collected by Natalie Christine to be displayed in the hospital....thank you again to all that have donated and supported this amazing cause that we worked so hard on....achieving over 1700 scrub sets in total....😊😊😊🧵🧵🧵👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤗🤗🤗

Calling all creatives ... we need your help to make face coverings!

While we have good supplies of clinical masks for our care teams, and we have some face-coverings on the way from Bay Made, we still urgently need help to source some more face coverings for all our non-patient-facing employees and volunteers, including those working in our offices, estate, shops and in our distribution centre. We know there are lots of community groups out there who are already making face coverings, so if you know of any who could donate some to us, we would be so grateful.

🎉It’s time for today’s huge ‘THANK YOU’! 🎉

Sue Bramwell, Torbay Hospital’s Emergency Department Matron, has thanked the large number of groups and individuals who have kindly boosted our stock of protective scrubs during this time of extra demand.

She said: “All the staff in the Emergency Department would like to say a huge thank you to all groups who have kindly donated their time to make and provide scrubs for them. In these unprecedented times a small thing such as owning a comfortable pair of well-fitting scrubs can make all the difference to staff morale and well-being.

The support and response from our community has been truly incredible and we cannot thank you enough.”
