You see the world through your own experiences.
The good you see in others shows the good in you
The hurt you see in others often mirrors the hurt you still carry.
Our relationships reflect what’s happening inside us.
—————————————————————————————
We don’t see people as they are —
we see them through the lens of our own inner world.
• When you recognise light, strength, beauty, kindness in someone else, it’s because those same qualities already live in you.
Otherwise you wouldn’t be able to recognise them.
• When you feel triggered, hurt, irritated, or scared by someone else’s behaviour, it’s often because it touches a part of you that hasn’t been healed or faced yet.
It doesn’t mean the other person isn’t responsible for their behaviour — it means your emotional reaction is shaped by your own history, wounds, and self-perception.
So basically:
We meet others only as deeply as we have met ourselves.
We recognise in others what we carry inside.
Healing this lets us meet another person with softness, seeing who they truly are,
rather than who our past taught us to expect.
