Today we take a moment to celebrate all the wonderful mothers who have shaped our lives with their love, kindness and strength. We honour the mothers who are here with us today, sharing their smiles, stories and warmth, and we also remember the mothers who are no longer with us but remain forever in our hearts.

A mother’s love never fades. It lives on in memories, in the lessons they taught us, and in the care and compassion they showed every day. Today is a special opportunity to reflect on those beautiful moments, to share stories, laughter and gratitude for everything mothers do and have done for us.

To all the mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who have touched our lives in so many meaningful ways — today we celebrate you. Thank you for the love, comfort and guidance you bring to the world.

At Croft Lodge we are privileged to support our residents from the very beginning of their journey with us through to the end of life. Caring for our residents is an honour, and we do so with love, compassion, understanding, respect, and dignity every single day.

Families are just as important to us as the people we care for, and we are proud to walk this journey alongside them, offering support every step of the way.

We are incredibly proud to have been named finalists in the British Care Awards 2024 – a wonderful recognition of the dedication and heart our team puts into their work.

Very soon, we will also be working alongside our sister homes to achieve the Gold Standards End of Life Care Kite Mark, continuing our commitment to providing the very best care for those who call Croft Lodge home. 💜
