Hazeldown School were an absolute delight! 🎄
Our residents had a fantastic afternoon filled with arts and crafts 🎨✨, smiles 😄, chatter 💬, and lovely teamwork 🤝. It was heart-warming to see the older residents and the young schoolchildren helping each other and enjoying such a joyful time together 💖. A beautiful example of true intergenerational connection during this festive season 🎅🎁🌟!

I just want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to all our amazing Croft Lodge staff 💛. This week has been full of rota changes, shift swaps and last-minute calls for help, yet every single one of you stepped up to make sure our residents continued to receive the care and kindness they rely on 🙏✨.

It’s been a busy time with new residents joining us, but you’ve all handled it with such professionalism, patience and teamwork 🌟. Whenever I’ve needed support, you’ve been there without hesitation, and I’m truly grateful 🤍.

A special thank you to our wonderful deputy manager, Annette, for covering shifts and supporting everyone on the floor — your dedication means so much 💐.

And as if that wasn’t enough, you’re even going the extra mile by helping our sister home, Estuary View, next week. Your commitment and willingness to support others truly shows the heart of this team 💛🤝.

Let’s have one final push and fill another box with festive treats. Tinned goods, packets, and any spare items you can offer are all welcome. Clear out your cupboards and help make a difference to someone in need.

This season, Croft Lodge Centrum Care Homes is teaming up with the Teignmouth Mutual Aid Community Larder to help support those in our town who need a little extra warmth and care. 🫶

We’re inviting our residents, families, staff, and local friends to join us in a Community Giving Month — collecting small items that can make a big difference!

🛒 What we’re collecting:
🥫 Tinned and packaged food (soups, beans, pasta, rice)
🧴 Toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste)
🎁 Little treats or festive goodies to brighten someone’s day

You don’t need to give a lot — just 1 or 2 items a week for a month can change a life. 🌟
