Here is a video that helps you see how everything in the body is connected through the fascia — a powerful reminder of how our internal network truly works.

Most people are surprised to learn that our fascia — the connective tissue web beneath the skin — links every part of the body to every other part. It wraps around muscles, bones, organs, and nerves, creating one continuous network.
That’s why tension in your shoulder can affect your lower back… or why tightness in your feet can influence your hips. When one area gets restricted, the whole system compensates in ways you’d never expect.

This is exactly why I incorporate myofascial work into my massage treatments. By releasing restrictions in the fascia, we help the body move more freely, reduce pain, and create lasting change — not just in the area of discomfort, but throughout the entire body.

💥 Locked Jaw, Frozen Hips — The Silent Pattern That’s Draining Your Energy

While preparing for my upcoming SI Therapy course, I went down a rabbit hole of hip rotation videos and came across this fascinating one about the connection between a locked jaw and stiff hips.

Having just completed my TMJ massage therapy training, this really resonated with me. It beautifully explains how our voice and movement are deeply connected — how unspoken tension can show up as tightness in the jaw, and how resisting movement can freeze the hips.

Our bodies remember. Sometimes what feels like a physical block is also emotional — a pattern that’s been silently draining energy.

💬 “Is your head getting ahead of your body? It’s time to catch up.”

If you spend a lot of time on your phone, in front of a screen, or driving, the sternocleidomastoid muscle in your neck can easily become tight and shortened.

This muscle supports, rotates, and tilts your head — yet it’s one of the most overworked areas in the neck.

- Common consequences:
- Pain at the back of the head
- Stiff shoulders
- Headaches or even dizziness

The familiar “forward head” posture

💡 Tip: Just a few minutes of stretching each day can make a big difference.
Sit up straight, slowly turn your head to one side, then gently tilt it toward the opposite shoulder. Take deep breaths and feel your neck release.

Result: a lighter head, looser neck, and easier breathing. 🌿
Your body will thank you!

💆‍♀️ £48 – if you visit me at my Therapy Room in Hadley
🏡 £53 – for home visits

I also kindly remind you of the 24-hour cancellation policy:
If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, the full session fee will still apply.
