A bird’s-eye view of progress at Sundew Court - Newport Shropshire . 📸

Scaffolding is coming down and internal work is well under way — kitchens, bathrooms and decorating are all in progress.

Eventually this will be home to a thriving retirement community of 61 apartments and 15 bungalows.

The scheme will give local people high-quality, manageable homes so they can downsize and stay in the town with care and support on hand if needed.

Great progress at Cannock — the steel frame is now going up for Finning UK and Ireland ’s new Rebuild Centre of Excellence.

We started on site in November building a specialist workshop with four 12-ton overhead cranes, eight large roller doors and a solar PV roof.

The facility will support Finning’s Rebuilt and Ready to Go programme, providing a specialist base where Caterpillar ® machines are inspected, serviced and refurbished.

We've really enjoyed working on this fantastic project.

It has made a real difference to the town centre. We can't wait to see it officially opened to the public on 2 May.

Talbot Park opens on Saturday 2 May! ✂️

Works at Talbot Park are now complete and the planting has had some time to bed in. We can’t wait to officially open the park very soon! 🌳

Join us for the ribbon cutting at 11am as the fencing is removed, so you can step into Kidderminster town centre's new green space for the first time!

This event is open to everyone, and we look forward to seeing you there!

This project has been funded by the Future High Streets Fund and Wyre Forest District Council.

We're over the moon to have been shortlisted for Community Champion — Business in the Community at the Shropshire Chamber Business Awards 2026! 🎉

A huge thank you to our team and the communities we work with for their support.

📸 A throwback to last year when we were honoured to take home the coveted Company of the Year title — an award we are proud to be sponsoring this year.

Best of luck to all the finalists. Roll on 19 June! 🏆

Say hello to the newest members of the fleet.

We’ve added two Wacker Neuson DW60 swivel tip dumpers and two DW90 straight tip dumpers, all branded up and already out on site.

Massive thanks to Darren Bland at Wacker Neuson for a smooth transfer and to Ian Roberts, who’s pictured with the new kit 📸

The children from Wellesbourne CE Primary had a big surprise when they returned from their Easter holidays. Their playground had had a complete transformation — new sand pit, tunnel, cleared pond, long jump pit refilled and finishing touches to a woodland walkway.

Huge thanks to Stuart Morrisey and the team from Traffix who worked alongside us to make sure it was complete for the children's return to school.

Thanks also to Jewson and James Brewerton (branch manager), Joseph Robinson at Bathgate Silica, Ashbrook Plant, Green Power Plant and Caroline Wiggins, OPAL lead and key stage 2 lead at Wellesbourne CE Primary, for reaching out — it was a pleasure to help get the playground ready for the children's return.

Look at this neat bit of kit!

It might look like something from Ghostbusters but it’s a shaft and sewer UAV — which stands for unmanned aerial vehicle.

It’s a special drone which we send underground to inspect sewer systems and pipelines.

Here it is in use near Gilson where we’re on site with the HS2 team, Avove and Severn Trent , carrying out laser scan and thermal imaging surveys of some historic sewers.

Roger Cox (procurement manager) and Adam Constable (planner and army veteran) went to the Models for Heroes event at Telford Fire Station to meet local veterans.

We donated Airfix Quickbuild kits which proved to be very popular with the members.

Big thanks to Nichola Gristock, Cindy Mason-Morris and the Telford & Wrekin Council team for their outreach work.

We’re looking forward to continuing our support for the armed forces community 🎖️
