We had such a cute little session today at our St Patricks Day class!
And let me tell you - it was a messy one! I'm still picking spaghetti out my hair 🤪

Next week is Things That Grow and is our last week of the Spring Term!

Which means..... Summer Term 1 will be ready to book by the end of the week 🥳

Mother’s Day can be many things.

For some, it’s cuddles in bed, handmade cards and sticky little kisses.
For others, it can hold grief, longing, complicated feelings or quiet reflection.

However today looks for you, we’re holding space for it all.

Today we’re celebrating every woman who pours love into a child’s life.

Mums.
Step-mums.
Grandmas.
Aunties.
Carers.
The women who comfort, guide, encourage and show up every day.

And to those who find today hard — we see you too.

At Little Glow Telford South, Broseley and Much Wenlock , Little Mess Telford, Shifnal and Newport and Little Academy Telford, Shifnal and Newport we’re so lucky to witness those tiny moments of connection between children and the incredible women in their lives every week.

Missed our Minibeasts session today? Here’s what you missed… 👀🐞

Little explorers discovering bugs, getting messy and diving straight into play.

Today’s trays were full of cereal snails, rice butterflies, spaghetti ladybirds, muddy bugs, bees and honeycomb, and our Bugs Life Hotel where all the little creatures could hide.

The room was full of curious little hands, lots of exploring and the kind of mess that children absolutely love.

And the best bit? Watching them completely lose themselves in play.

It’s going to be packed with bug themed messy play and sensory exploration for your little ones.

Happy International Women’s Day. 🌸

Today we celebrate the women and girls who fill childhood with colour, curiosity and joy.

The mums, aunties, grandmas, carers, sisters, friends and educators who kneel beside little ones and say “go on… give it a try”.

The women who don’t mind getting messy.
Who laugh when the cereal spills, the paint splats and the rice ends up everywhere.

The ones who know that sometimes the best learning happens when things aren’t tidy.

At Little Mess we see it every week — women encouraging little explorers to scoop, squish, pour and discover the world around them.

And we celebrate the little girls in our sessions too — the future creators, thinkers, builders and leaders.

Today is about every woman and every girl who brings curiosity, care and courage into the lives of children.

Here’s to embracing the mess, the mayhem and the magic of childhood.
