🌍 COME TOGETHER YOUTH FESTIVAL – WE’RE PROUD TO BE ATTENDING 🌍

Allsports Coaches Coaching Academy CIC are delighted to be attending and supporting the Come Together Youth Festival at Hadley Community Centre on 14th March 2026 (12pm–3pm).

This event is exactly what community work should look like — bringing young people, families, cultures, and local services together in a positive, welcoming space. From activities and food to conversations and connections, it’s about inclusion, opportunity, and unity 💛

At ACCA, we believe that sport, engagement, and positive role models can change lives. Whether through physical activity, conversation, creativity, or simply feeling seen and heard, events like this play a huge role in:

Supporting youth mental health & wellbeing
Building confidence, resilience, and belonging
Strengthening community relationships
Giving young people access to positive experiences and trusted adults

We’re especially proud to support events that celebrate diversity, culture, and togetherness, and that give young people a voice — something we champion across all our programmes, from schools to community settings.

👏 Huge credit to the organisers and partners for putting on such an important day for the community.

Please sign and share. Schools need a lesson in how to properly support neurodiverse children and not punish them for their disability.

It is about time schools started to treat neurodivergent children with Autism and ADHD appropriately. These are not just labels. They are brains that are literally made differently to neurotypical ones. ADHD children don’t make the wrong choices-because they don’t have a choice in how their brain functions.

We must insist on better education for children who have ADHD.

We feel that neurodivergent children (especially children with hyperactive/impulsive or combined ADHD) need movement to help regulate their brains. We think we need to stop punishing neurodivergent children in schools by removing access to outdoor play and movement opportunities.

👦 Kids Cafe is running this Friday and is aimed at helping improve the mental health and wellbeing of 7 to 14 years old.

📆 Runs once a fortnight

🕑 5.30pm until 7pm

💷 £2.00 Per Child (Can be paid by cash or Card)

Wellbeing, Belonging and Moving for Mental Health

Activities for people living with Severe Mental Illness have become even more inclusive

To improve the physical health, mental wellbeing and a sense of belonging for people living with a severe mental illness, activities are currently being offered locally including:

• Football in Shrewsbury on a Monday afternoon
• Football in Telford on a Tuesday morning
• Multi-sports in Shrewsbury on a Tuesday afternoon
• Gentle exercise in Shrewsbury on Wednesday afternoon
• Tennis in Telford on a Thursday morning

Activities are now open to anyone living with a severe mental illness (SMI), regardless of medication type.

And if you’re living with SMI, you can join any session that works best for you—no matter where you live.
