Such sad news

Ricky Hatton was an ambassador for Campaign Against Living Miserably showing that even the hardest of men, struggle with their mental health.

Today we’ve lost a great man but we must all continue the fight against mental health.

Carrying 15kg for CALM 5,475 miles

We took on the epic challenge of completing the Jurassic Coast in 3 Days!
(For context the southwest coast path website shows a 9 day hike)

It took an extra day to complete 106 miles we could look at this as a failure but it wasn’t by any means, we completed/won so much more than we expected!

Liam Kavanagh planned this hike to perfection but neither one of us could of planned for the sheer amount of people that took the time to speak to us, sharing their heart warming stories, tragic losses, the troubles with mental health they experience/experienced or the people that had seen our story and simply wanted to say thank you.

This set us back 10 miles on the 1st day of walking, we’re so GLAD this happened it made it real. Real lives, Real stories and Real love!

The donations flooded in and GoFundMe now sits at a staggering £3,698 plus £100 in cash donations! Total £3,798 WOW!!!

There’s no way we can show our gratitude for this other than continuing to walk 5,475 miles carrying 15kg. Campaign Against Living Miserably

✨ Last night members of BBBUK met up with some fellow friends for a few hours of sound bath and relaxation. We ended with some light refreshments and a sharing circle to close the group ⭕️

It’s so important for men to have these spaces to open and share with out it being judged, also to have fellow men that understand and listen to each other.

Not all men have to meet in public and spill there heart out of a 5 pints of beer.

It’s good to see this becoming more and more 🫂

We’re closing in on 1,300 miles of 5,475.

5,475 is the number of people we lose to su***de every 12 months in England and Wales. As a group we have decided to walk 5,475 miles in 365 days.

Not only that we’re also carrying 15kg as that’s the average amount of people we lose every day to su***de.

A massive well done to the lads so far 🩵👊🏻
