Tetbury Hospital Trust We provide a broad range of NHS, self pay and insured treatments for the benefit of our community Referrals can also be made by an optician, or a dentist.

In the late 1980s when the NHS ran Tetbury Hospital it was threatened with closure. The people of the town raised over £1 million to ‘buy’ the hospital. Tetbury Hospital Trust Ltd was set up as a charity to run the hospital for the benefit of the people of Tetbury and the surrounding district. At the same time The Friends of Tetbury Hospital came into being with HRH The Prince of Wales as its Patron to act as the fundraising arm of the Hospital. The Friends play an important part in providing the Hospital with new equipment and facilities. We deliver the best care to local communities and our services are available through the NHS e-Referral System which is available in all GPs throughout the Country. We provide a comprehensive service and have excellent relationships with the local NHS Trusts and other Independent Sector healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care

This week we are pleased to welcome another new Consultant to the Tetbury Hospital team! We are delighted to have Mr Robert Morley, Consultant Podiatric Surgeon join us to look after your feet 🦶.

Mr Morley has performed over 3000 foot operations including the surgical management of bunions, arthritic conditions, hammer toes and soft tissue lesions under both local and general anaesthesia. He also has many years of experience in the use of ultrasound and guided steroid injection therapy.

We are thrilled to welcome Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Mr Sam Jonas, to Tetbury Hospital 😊.

Mr Jonas specialises in knee problems 🦵, in particular arthritis, and is one of the highest volume knee replacement surgeons in Bristol. He is passionate about achieving the very best outcomes in every patient, offering a caring approach and returning them to the activities they love to do.

Mr Jonas will treat both NHS and Private Patients at Tetbury Hospital. Patients can initially discuss their suitability for a joint replacement and hospital options with Mr Jonas in his Tetbury Hospital Trust clinic. They will then have the operation in another selected hospital and attend any post-surgery appointments back in Tetbury.
