We were lucky enough to be at the launch of these amazing Dementia Training Films in 2025 and now you can watch them from the comfort of your own home.

🎬 A series of 10 dementia education training films is now available to watch. The films capture the experiences of people living in care homes and extra care sheltered housing settings across Gloucestershire.

The aim is to raise awareness and improve the quality of dementia care both locally and nationally, as well as providing practical strategies and skills for health and social care professionals and carers who are supporting people living with a dementia.

The films have been produced in partnership with a number of organisations including University of Gloucestershire Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust and Gloucestershire County Council

All across Gloucestershire there are lots of wonderful people doing brilliant things to make life better for those living with dementia.

District and local Dementia Action Alliances have been formed County-wide; is there is potential for something specifically for Tewkesbury?
