Today we had Dee’s little ones visit our residents and what a joyful afternoon it was! 🎈👧👵

They loved playing games together, with Balloon Tennis being the big hit of the day!
There were plenty of giggles and balloons flying through the lounges, and it was so heartwarming to see the children popping into rooms to say hello to those who prefer a quieter space. 💛

🎶 A Magical Musical Moment at Emberbrook! 🎶

We had the pleasure of welcoming Oli, a fantastic flutist, to Emberbrook and what a performance it was! Our residents were completely captivated, listening so intently that you could hear a pin drop. 💫

One resident even said, “It felt just like being at the Proms!” 🎼✨

🌺🌞 Wow! What an amazing afternoon at Emberbrook Care Home ! Residents, relatives, and staff came together to celebrate our annual Summer BBQ with a fun Hawaiian twist! 🌴🍍

With fantastic live entertainment from Robbie, the atmosphere was full of singing, dancing, and pure joy. The BBQ was a big hit, with everyone enjoying the delicious Hawaiian-style food, refreshing homemade cocktails, and tasty treats. 🍔🍹🎶

Our residents at Emberbrook had a fantastic morning at the Vital Village Community Centre, where they got up close with a variety of animals! 🐢🐐🐍 From cuddly rabbits and guinea pigs to a giant tortoise that amazed everyone, there was so much to see, even a Shetland pony, goat, and sheep. While some were a bit hesitant around the Komodo dragon, snakes, and hedgehog, they all had a brilliant time! 😊

We had an absolute blast at our Summer Sports Day, as you can tell from all the smiles, laughter, and cheers! 😄👏

We love getting our residents involved, whether they’re cheering from the sidelines or jumping in to join the fun themselves. It’s a fantastic way to stay active, socialise, and create lasting memories together. 💛

🎵 Oh, we do like to be beside the seaside! 🎵
Our lovely staff at Emberbrook took a group of residents out for a refreshing day at the Worthing coast, and what a fantastic time they had! 🌊

They soaked up the sea air, enjoyed the best fish and chips by the water, took a gentle stroll along the pier, and topped it all off with a delicious ice cream. 🍦☀️

Emberbrook’s Summer Sports Day was a big hit once again! 🏅☀️
Staff, residents, and relatives all joined in the fun, and it was heartwarming to see so many getting involved. The laughter was non-stop and residents said they couldn’t stop giggling at some of the team antics! 😂

After all that fun and games, orange quarters, sandwiches, and scones were very well deserved and went down a treat. 🧡🥪🍰

A massive thank you to our amazing staff who took time out of their busy schedules on the units to help make the day such a success. You’re all stars! ⭐👏
