🕑 Jonathan says put your clock back 1 hour on Sunday night. The the evenings will get dark quicker so some people may need help to understand the change in routine.

Don't forget medical devices like insulin pumps and communication aids.

😍 Wow! Karen is VERY excited to be moving into her new home in Bricket Wood, near .

Watch Karen: Drive to her new home > get the keys > see the living room > inspect the kitchen > and, most importantly, say EXACTLY how she feels! ❤️

The nine new sustainable homes at Bricket Wood were informed by the of Health and Social Care’s Transforming Care programme. We know Hertfordshire County Council has welcomed these homes, and we thank everyone involved for helping Karen - and her new neighbours - be happy where they live.

And thank you for helping us film, Karen! 📽️

I'm Dr Mark Brookes MBE and I've taken over our socials this hate crime awareness week. Today I want to share resources to help carers and supporters to know their rights and speak up.

No-one knows your friend or loved one like you do so our family consultants are here on the family helpline on 0300 303 9161 or email: Family.helpline@dimensions-uk.org

At Dimensions many colleagues have a connection or lived experience of a disability so we also have a carer group for colleagues to we can lean on each other and recharge our batteries. Supporting each other helps us find the confidence to stand up for ourselves and our loved-ones against hate crime.

What is a disability hate crime?

A disability hate crime is when someone is attacked because they are disabled. This can be:

Physical harm, like being punched, pushed, touched in your private areas or not being looked after.

Verbal harm, like you or your supporters being called names or threatened in public or online.

Property harm, like when your home, your car or your things are damaged on purpose.

Blocking access, like putting bins in your way or regularly parking in a Blue Badge space on purpose.

You can call 101 to report it to the police. Only call 999 if someone’s life is in danger.

In our free webinar today, Jimmy is telling us how he and his friends have redesigned their individual service funds to work for them. They call it 'My Support Money' and choose how and when they get the support they need.

⚽👨‍🍳 With a love of football and cooking for each other with their weekly 'come dine with me' style club they have also gained real friendship.

"We all get involved in our weekly plans to make sure we aren't being over-supported and make choices about how and when we get support. We chose who supports us. Staff are matched depending on the activity." Jimmy.

🕺 Dancing into autumn with Zumba!

John is a person we support in Enfield who has fallen in love with the south American vibe; clapping his hands and dancing to the music. He can't wait for his next session and we are loving his energy!
