Well, well, well, who would have known? Some Elfs also do a daily e***a before they fly to the North Pole to let Santa know how the kids are behaving.
*If there was a contest, this super creative mother would have won it - we loved it. We always tell families that we have patients in all professions doing daily e***a, now we will add: even an Elf!

The Kate's met in Edinburgh after being invited to attend The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh annual meeting where the theme was 'lived experiences'. Kate Tyler delivered a talk on her experiences of living with ARM, the impact that it has on all aspects of well-being, and the importance of successful transition and lifelong care into adulthood. The talk was very well received being described as wonderful, insightful, powerful and valuable for surgeons to hear what is most important to patients.

As we approach the festive period we have decided to create a fundraiser for our small charity.

We know that people often like to donate to charity rather than sending cards over the festive period so this is an easy way to do that.

Calling all budding bakers! Are you looking for a way to practice your baking skills? Then why not hold a bake sale or refreshment stall to raise money for Max's Trust.

This is a great way to fundraise for our small charity.

If you need any help or support then please send us a message or email us at hello@maxtrust.org.

We'd love to share any photo's of your stalls on our social media and our (new) website!

Funds that are raised can be sent to our bank or through PayPal Giving: https://www.paypal.com/gb/fundraiser/charity/3781174

As you may have noticed the option to fundraise for Max's Trust through Facebook has been down for some time. We are delighted to announce after many attempts you can now create Facebook fundraisers for Max's Trust. This is great news for our small charity. This means that you can now create your own Facebook fundraisers for birthday etc.

We have some exciting fundraising ideas planned for later on in the year.

As always if you would like to fundraise for Max's or become part of our fundraising team then please get in touch. You can email us at hello@maxtrust.org.

Happy Fundraising!

We are delighted to announce that we have a new trustee!

Shaun Shepherd was born with ARM, OA/TOFS as well as some other symptoms of VACTERL. Shaun has been a great advocate and has shared his lived experience to help others.

We are delighted to welcome Shaun on board and we are sure that he will make an excellent addition to the team!

It's a very exciting weekend for some of our Max's Trust team who are heading to Birmingham for the Vacterl Association Support Group Get together 2025

This is a wonderful event that allows individuals and families to meet and make friends, listen to talks by Dr Caroline and 'Over the Wall' plus much more.
