Ive finally addressed the fact that a website would be helpful for my beautiful little business.

With the help of a wonderful young guy the site is coming together nicely. Thanks I am hoping to launch it in the next few months, complete with some new little additions to our communities health and wellness.

I’m so proud of the photos, with more to follow soon.

But today, I felt the time was right, to link up with some awesome connectors and wonderful friends so I cheekily asked for some testimonials.

Thank you so, so much for the kind words and encouragement. It truly does uplift me and remind me of the real importance of authentic friendships in business. I’m truly a lucky human! Thank you so much , and many more.

Quiet, space, time and beautiful company. I’ve always known what’s good for me and what helps me to recharge. As a kid I’d holiday in North Wales on a farm in the middle of nowhere. I’m obviously made this way. A book, some embroidery and my very funny husband. That’s it!

Ahhh summer holidays….this scratchy old photo is about 20 years old now. But I love looking at the tiny details that spark up beautiful memories. The backpacks are full of their favourite things. Ned the ted and pens and paper for their first ever flight. I don’t really know what inspired me to take this photo, but I’m glad that I did. Moments like these are gone in an instant. Happy summer holidays to all my lovely clients with little ones.

It’s nice to get dressed up every now and then.

My recent La Rochelle purchase will be getting a good outing this week!

I will confess to having shied away from networking events in the past. But I’m finding so much support and pleasure out of the new South Gloucestershire Women’s Business networking event held every month in Thornbury.

It’s a real chance to interact with other small businesses and to learn more about important aspects of growing your own profession . Today is a discussion on Social Media. While tomorrow I’ll be spending the morning Chipping Sodbury a superb wellness centre that hosts monthly meetings for all businesses in the wellness industry.

I’m so grateful to be surrounded by so many like minded women, developing their own careers.

Happy Thursday! I’m all about positive affirmations this month. I’m happy to share mine with you at La Tête and encourage you to create your own. It might sound cheesy and corny. But I gave it a try and it seems to be working. Instead of the negative narrative I’m opting for this:

‘I’m curvy and happy, and I make good food choices’

It’s too easy to spend time criticising our bodies. So I’m opting to spend 30 seconds every morning with my own personal affirmation. Seems ´fake it till you make it’ is a thing after all. I am curvy, happy and occasionally I make good food choices!

July 4th is my dear Dad's Birthday. He has not been with us for many, many years. But I am forever grateful to him for introducing me to all things French.

Dad went to work in Paris in the 70's and was an Engineer on the Centre Pompidou. It was an exciting time. For him learning French in his 40's must have been a real challenge. He became fluent quite quickly, albeit with a Welsh accent!

Roll on many years and here I sit in my beautiful cabin at La Tête continuing to enjoy that connection. I still struggle to grasp the language and visit France regularly.

So that is basically my back story. If you ever wondered why this little business came to be known as La Tête that is why,

It feels that summer is definitely on its way now. I'm so proud of my strawberry crop this year. It certainly highlights to me its the little things in life that make so much difference. With that in mind. I have made a decision to offer a free treatment each month to one lucky client, from now until the end of the year. The first batch of complimentary treatments will be given to clients who have supported this little business from its outset and watched and contributed to its growth. An enormous thank you from me. For all the gift vouchers you have purchased and all the recommendations you have given. This certainly does not go unnoticed. As a result I am now committed to growing my business further. I will be rolling out a cute little website and be offering pop up wellness events in the following year. But this all takes time. So tomorrow morning. This little gift will be hopefully making someone's day. Take your pick of a Thai Foot Massage or a Head and Face massage, your choice.
