A little personal post today 💙

This weekend, I completed my first ever running event — and not only did I finish it, I achieved a PB too! 🏃‍♀️🎉

For some people, that might seem small, but for me it was a reminder of how powerful mindset, resilience, and self-belief really are.

There were moments I wanted to slow down, doubt myself, or give up… but I kept going.

That’s exactly why I’m so passionate about helping children build confidence, emotional resilience, and a positive mindset through my coaching. The lessons we learn through challenges — whether it’s running a race, starting something new, or facing difficult emotions — stay with us for life.

Growth happens when we believe we can do hard things 💫

Feeling proud, grateful, and definitely inspired to keep pushing myself — both personally and in my work supporting young people.

A little plea from a small local business 💛

I’m trying to reach more young people and families who may benefit from life coaching, confidence building, mentoring, and support — but I need your help to do it.

If you work with young people in any capacity — schools, youth clubs, guides/scouts, colleges, sports groups, charities, mentoring programmes, community organisations, or family support services — I’d be so grateful if you could:

✨ Share my business page
✨ Recommend me to anyone who may benefit
✨ Reach out to chat about workshops, group sessions, mentoring, wellbeing support, or ways we could work together

I’m passionate about helping young people build confidence, resilience, motivation, and belief in themselves, and I’d love to connect with more organisations and communities doing amazing work with young people.

Every share genuinely helps a small business grow and helps me reach the young people who may need support most.

Thank you so much 💛

Spent some time at RMR Mersey Base yesterday with a group of young people — and it really got me thinking.

The standards, mindset, and expectations you see in environments like the Royal Marines aren’t just about physical strength. They’re about discipline, resilience, accountability, teamwork, and pushing yourself beyond what feels comfortable.

And honestly? Those are the exact same qualities we work on every day in life coaching for kids.

You don’t need to be in a military setting to start building that mindset — young people can develop confidence, emotional strength, and self-belief in everyday life, with the right guidance and support.

It was powerful to see those parallels so clearly. When young people are challenged, supported, and encouraged to grow, they rise to it.

That’s what it’s all about 💙

Long weekends hit different 🌿

Three days to slow down, reset, and actually *notice* what matters. Whether it’s extra sleep, time with family, or just a quiet moment without pressure—these pauses aren’t lazy… they’re necessary.

It’s the same lesson I teach in my coaching work with kids: growth doesn’t just come from doing more, pushing harder, or staying busy. It also comes from rest, reflection, and learning how to listen to yourself.

When kids understand that balance early, they build confidence, resilience, and a healthier relationship with success.

So this weekend, enjoy the break—and maybe ask yourself (and your kids):
✨ What helps you feel recharged?
✨ What do you want more of in your everyday life?

Sometimes the biggest progress starts in the quiet moments.

After a *very* long break (we’re talking since 1998 😅), I’ve decided to start playing netball again.

Not because I have to. Not because I’m chasing anything big. But because I know how important it is to take care of my own mental well-being.

As someone who works as a life coach for young people, I spend a lot of time encouraging others to look after themselves — to find healthy outlets, to move their bodies, to reconnect with things that make them feel good. It felt only right that I take my own advice.

Getting back on the court is a reminder that it’s never too late to start again, try something new (or old!), and prioritise yourself.

Growth isn’t just about pushing forward — sometimes it’s about going back to what once made you feel alive.

Here’s to doing more of what keeps us well 💛
