💘 Valentine’s Day at Rose Cottage – Part 2 💘

The love continued into the evening with a fantastic pizza party! 🍕

Our residents had so much fun creating their very own pizzas, choosing from a selection of delicious toppings and building them just the way they like them.

Followed by fizz, doughnuts and karaoke & plenty of singing 🎤✨

What a fabulous day of love and pampering.

The day began with a truly thoughtful surprise.

Our amazing chef - Leanne
lovingly prepared individual gift boxes for each resident, filled with handmade baked treats and delicious chocolate-dipped strawberries 🍓🍰

Every single box created in Leanne’s own time — what a kind and generous gesture.
An absolute treat to start the special day …

Even on the dreariest of days, we’ve been creating our own sunshine here at Rose Cottage! 🌦️✨

Our wonderful residents have been crafting bright sun catchers using colourful beads, threads, and acrylic paints.
Each one unique, beautiful and full of personality .

We’re looking forward to hanging them in the windows …..

What a fantastic time they had! We’re so lucky to have such a welcoming and friendly pub right on our doorstep. 🍻🌟

Our residents absolutely loved their final outing of the year at the Thornton Community Centre Wellness Café 💕

Catching up with friends, enjoying live music, singing, dancing, festive treats — and even winning a raffle prize!

These monthly wellness cafés have meant so much to our residents, giving them the chance to get out, connect, and feel part of the wider community.
