FEAR of CHANGE
Most human beings have some worries about change, it’s normal. However some people like ME really have to work hard to not let CHANGE consume my thoughts. Life is full of change, small and big. We can’t stop always stop them from happening ( s**t I know) so in to live your life without constant fear and anxiety of change the first thing we are going to have to do is accept that fact. (ouch) Other things we can do is ask ourselves these questions.
1. Can I control this change? If yes then great. If no, how long are you prepared to waste your time and energy on something you can’t control?
2. Can I reframe this change into a positive ? Even if it is the tiniest positive. 3. What is it about this change that scares me so much?
4. Have I overcome change before and been ok in the end? 5. Is this a change that will help me grow? 6. Can someone help me with this change ?
Please remember change isn’t always bad and the end of your life. Change is growth, yes you may have not wanted it, you may have not chosen what happened but you get to choose what you do with it. You get to choose what happens next and how you use that fear and turn it into excitement for what’s to come.
