🎤 🪇 We were uplifted with local musicians, Estuary Bells Bellringers & enjoyed our own Karaoke sing-a-longs! 🎶🎤 🔔

A lovely visit too from St. Marychurch Pre-School children who entertained us with some singing, story telling & arts & crafts! 🎶📖🎨🖌️

Visiting the nearby Anchorage hotel for breakfast & tea & cake!♥️ 🥓🍳🍰☕

One of our activities this week was a visit from Chris Johnson, Animal Encounters aka the "Animal Man". It was a wonderful sensory experience which so many of our residents enjoyed. Chris brought a wealth of knowledge about them making it a wonderful afternoon! 🐍🦉🦎🦔

Our team’s aim is to promote physical wellbeing, support independence, and enhance the comfort and dignity of our residents.

Below, you can watch a short video of a passive group exercise session led by Andy. Although he is our chef, he brings a fantastic depth of knowledge about exercise and its many benefits—demonstrating the diverse skills within our team.

At Lorna House, we are fortunate to have multi-talented staff. By embracing and utilising these skills, we are committed to delivering truly holistic, person-centred care for all our residents.

Easter continues next week with our Resident's Easter party for families & friends too! Music from Peter Dell & the Babbacombe Ukulele Strummers, Name the Rabbit, Raffle, Easter egg hunt for the children & eggcellent food! As always please let us know if you're coming by Wed 8th April.
